Some of the Newport supporters had a bus organised to come home Saturday night, jumped on it around 11.15 straight back to Newport no problems. There's a few more hotels being built in Newport at the moment so accomodation should be easier and hopefully the Welsh Open will be back up and running too.

I don't think the venue has ever been knocked it's the track preparation and it would be the same at Wembley a man made track...

Very true I am from Redwick, but live in Newport now. Sadly I'd have to be a near millionaire to live there now! But as Reckless said the bus service is terrible probably two/three buses a day and you'd have to rely on taxi. Unless one of the farmers are going into town and can drop you in. Brick House is a lovely farm house and only about two houses (1/2 mile) from where I used to live.

I notice that Tom Hedleys brother rode in the Victorian State Titles, any news on how Tom is? He had quite a nasty injury up at Sheffield towards the end of the season, along with the shoulder injury he was already carrying.

Not Troy Batchelor and Robert Ksiezak? They seem to stand out as the riders with League experience. But bring it on Hedley and Gathercole, I hope they are as good as their made out to be!

We heard today at Newport that Frank had broken his leg whilst racing, can anyone on here confirm this and when it happened?
