  1. I thought that in previous years clubs submitted their proposed 1-7 line up to BSPA and then these were agreed/denied as applicable. Their view may well be that all teams are aware of what averages riders should be on and therefore build their teams accordingly. I think the lack of any statement or official announcement implies they don't deem it necessary (rightly or wrongly) Having said all that, I wouldn't ask them to organise my get together in a brewery
  2. It's a sensible concept and potentially advantageous for the club involved, however I see several potential drawbacks 1 - If as is now being touted assessed riders will have to hit their assessed figure in the future to get visas, you may not end up with any viable assets to use!! 2- I assume your theory is that the assessed riders are retained having dropped by around 3 points each (if 7pt riders) and these points are then used to replace the couple of riders in the team at the lower end. If this planning is known about, it could be difficult to sell the club to those riders who know they may well be chopped after 12 meetings. 3 - as stated above will crowds be sustained while you have an effect team which is built to a 37 total team average and therefore looking at likely defeats??
  3. That's ok then, didn't want TWK upset before Xmas Although thinking about it he has a familiar look, maybe he is very busy Xmas eve
  4. guess you obviously meant the freebase form of cocaine which can be smoked, as you choose that spelling, having known craic was spelt as such
  5. Will do - you too One final correction - I do have a sense of humour - never stop laughing at your postings
  6. No problem - free service no silly money required Anyway you continue in your own imaginary world Seasons Greetings xx
  7. Is Billy Hamill having another comeback ??
  8. Forget Branford, reports are he is Edinburgh bound - hope they have a big chequebook
  9. Ok - apologies if I misunderstood your post and over reacted - I am just a little cheesed off with posters stating Matty's issues were due to him being at Redcar - I know Havvy does and says some odd things at times, but with regard to supporting Matty he went a lot further than many promoters would And ... Wilko was well liked at Redcar also, but I agree we do have some fans who are quick to be criticial - probably the same at most tracks, (maybe ours are more vocal!!)
  10. Chill mate, chill You don't need to report back to me, just thought you may like to validate your ramblings , especially as others have questioned the same thing - can't remember where and when I've seen this, but as I've now said it - it must be true But you are right it's time to move on and do more productive activities than keeping on correcting you PS - if you do pay transfer I won't need proof as it will be reported and everyone will remember where and when they saw it! - enjoy your lines (but make sure you do them accurately )
  11. From someone who usually posts sensible comments this is ludicrous - I fear you have been on the wacky baccy!! He was a depressed man at redcar and you know why that was, go ask him how much support he received, because you obvious are guessing and are way off the mark. Yes he reinvented himself at Berwick, no debate and I am delighted for him. Hopefully he will show everyone how much he likes redcar, fans and the promotion this season and end all these comments which are just trivial little mind games!! It must have been a different "last match" to me, because my memory is of him walking around the outside of the track shaking hands with the fans and thanking them for the support he had!! Kozza signed for redcar in 2014 but could not ride because of visa issues He has never been signed for next season, only offered a deal, which Glasgow outdid, hence he went to Glasgow - so you suppose right that is very fair, if I outbid you on e-bay I win the item you have to go looking for something else, that's life
  12. "where and when who knows" - unbelievable !! come back to me with some facts and I'll give your issue some credance
  13. Is that in your local press? In our rag comment on Summers was : The club who have made an approach to sign him are believed to have a big budget and are prepared to offer far more than the Bears could put on the table. “I don’t blame Aaron,” said Havelock, who confirmed the Bears had offered terms to Summers for 2015. “If you’re walking down the road and a bloke comes up to you and says ‘do you want to do the same job on the other side of the road for £10 an hour more’, what are you going to do? Again not stating it was too much just more than Bears. But if it is a quote I haven't seen then I stand corrected
  14. Where has he said you are paying too much?? latest report I have read simply states he offered Kozza a fantastic deal and Glasgow came and offered more can't see anything other than facts there - no opinion given on if it was too much just more than he was prepared to go to. End result Kozza goes to do same job for more money - I would imagine no-one blames him.
  15. What's your problem - it's freedom of press - so long as it is accurate then let everyone know the facts.
  16. Official press release states discussions were held and " was all very harmonious everything seemed ok to push ahead as in the season just ended" no mention of an already agreed loan agreement being in place, just that Berwick had authorisation to speak with Kus about him returning. Mr H well within his rights to have a change of mind when Berwick come back to finalise the deal, especially if his plans have not gone according to plan. Seems to me that because this option hasn't worked out Berwick promotion are trying to call foul and deflect any criticism from themselves !!
  17. It would be worrying if you didn't believe your own statements
  18. Towards mid to late last season I was told by what I consider to be a reliable source that Matty was looking to return to Redcar, then a couple of weeks later I was told by another fan (again reliable) that he wanted to stay at Berwick - I think he is comfortable with both and as others have said, if he really wanted away he could have done more to force Havvy's hand
  19. Looks like loan deal was discussed but until all parties know what their requirements are nothing is agreed. Redcar would have their own plans which probably didn't include Kus, but when they get scuppered and own assets approached without permission then plans B, C & D have to be looked at - I would guess it was at this stage that Kus was deemed best option for the Bears If (and at present it's a big IF) Allen is assessed at 7.00 then do Berwick really want Kus?? that would leave you with just under 12 for 3 riders - no1 barker back ups Jorgensen & Kus then Allen and three 4 point riders (or variation) - to me that make up would bring many comments about being weak. Big issue that needs sorting is Allen's availability and how many points is he going to take
  20. May be wrong, but I think a lot of PL teams will be put off signing Lakeside riders who are Lakeside assets (eg Lawson last year and Ellis) - because of priority rules PL team will always have to replace them with a guest and with number of Friday teams it is going to be regular. PL promoters need to assess if constant meetings without Ellis is offset by what he may bring to the team, especially if there is a lack of available guests due to other matches. I know it really disrupted the Bears last year
  21. My take on this is that Havvy is feeling stitched up by Workington/Lakeside last season over the Lawson asset fiasco and then now by a northern track (not Berwick) who are poaching his rider and potential riders by dangling big bucks. This is most likely his stubborn response and a knee jerk reaction I don't know BSPA rules on loans etc. but I can't honestly see how Redcar can cause a "restraint of trade" by refusing to sanction a loan. I'd be willing to take a bet on Kus riding for Berwick (if they do decide to include him) next season
  22. So he'll end up remaining a Redcar asset and on loan at Berwick -( if they want to fit him in when Allen is given 7 pt average) - why is everyone getting het up ??
