To be fair I was expecting to see a wrist strapped, or even ice applied between races, however I have no expert knowledge of scaphoid injuries, so I don't know what pain/discomfort is experienced!

Where did I once mention Steve Worrall ??? If you would like to read the post again a- it states scenario for the future and b- in my fictitious example I was using an unnamed rider who had a bad foot ! Looks like my poor attempt to lighten the thread has clearly missed the mark with yourself! However I would add that having not been fit enough to ride the night before the British Final , he is apparently fit enough to ride Monday, Wednesday, Friday and twice on Sunday - any comparison with Collins back in 1977 is way, way off the mark

Think you are forgetting how poor he was and therefore what limitations would be on who you get -

does McGregor venture down to you? You think Gay & sarj a bad mix let Mad Mc loose on him. -
OK - genuine questions, not trying to have at go at anyone, or stir things up. Scaphoid injuries - Worrall has confirmed his scaphoid is broken, in all my (long) memories of speedway I always heard of riders being out for a lengthy period with a scaphoid break - Are there differing degrees of severity of break? To me a break is a break! Others have suggested scaphoid breaks can cause complications (blood flow being mentioned) anyone know what repercussions of not letting a scaphoid break heal properly are? Are there any other effects of a scaphoid break - ie weakness in that wrist, or constant pain, or ad hoc pain?

that would be an interesting scenario for the future - sorry boss my bad foot means I can't ride at XXXX (where I am usually crap) so use r/r, but the following night at YYYY (where I love) it will be ok and the night after at ZZZZ (where everyone hates - Exeter in days gone by) sorry too painful Not a good choice of words - I assume you mean left to Steve and medical advice , if he was fit enough to ride on Sunday !

Clegg over Ostergaard You need some serious psychotherapy mate !! -
Well I think his logic should be, if he thinks diamonds deserve to finish higher than Glasgow, Edinburgh, Sheffield and Ipswich (and probably Peterborough when then get team together) I had them down to be alongside Redcar and Worky, but having seen them twice I doubt that - if you are going to be at best a 5 man team and more likely a 2 man team away from home !

I guess Worrall didn't fancy it after his acrobatics in heat 13 - and Lindgren was your next best rider!!

Well you got your wish - it was an 18 point hammering

Hall looked excellent first couple of meetings, but then really couldn't gate at all and was constantly trying too hard, think he also looked worse due to Perks going so well. IMO His family issues didn't help either! Good luck to him, hope he goes well, but don't come back to haunt us!!! -
Suggest you look at the previous post to yours and then you can re evaluate your comments

Barker & Ostergaard as a pairing - bikes will be bouncing all over!!

It isn't that I disagree with his viewpoint, it is that - in my opinion - the accusations behind the posting are so blatantly biased and false I take offence at them and as such I believe it is appropriate to challenge them and I think it is very relevant in this case to be transparent and state where ones loyalties lie. For the record 1 I am a Redcar fan 2 I don't believe any underhand tactics were utilised during the incident 3 I think this whole debate has gone round and round and only responded to what I saw as a gross insult and slur on Redcar promotion and Coty Garcia 4 I actually think that Glasgow should be given the match win, however the ref should have had the authority to award the race and then no further debate necessary! There are far too many rules which state a variation to the given rule MAY be applied which causes all the arguments!
