  8. Well, I spoked with them after the race in Vojens and I spoked over the phone with the Danish Team Manager Jan Staechmann last night. BTW here is what Jan wrote after the meeting: Hi everyone, I may be biased, but I’m also honest: We had no say in how the track was prepared. Actually all the guys in the team prefer some dirt. The difference is that we seem to be able to do well on the slick also. What you probably don’t know is that practice was cancelled due to the immense amount of rain we have had in southern Denmark in the last few days, and the forecast for race day was thunder storms late afternoon/early evening. There was a decent wind all day, but the threat of rain never materialized – thankfully – and the only bit we got was a light drizzle around 6pm. That is why the track was as slick as it was. It was even watered every 5 races, and at least it wasn’t as bad as Reading at the race off last year… Great to see well over 10.500 spectators again in Vojens. Best wishes Jan
  9. No it was not. The track was prepared the way Ole Olsen always does - the Danes were just apple to win on the track, but they did not have any saying about how the track were repared. I will give you the point - that the track was CRAP !!! - but again that is up to Ole Olsen and it always turn out slicky - and then it is up for riders to make the best out of it. PS: For you the Danish Team are: Mr. Pedersen, Mr. Bjerre, Mr. Iversen, Mr. Andersen and Mr. Pedersen - the rest of you can call them: Nicki, Kenneth, Niels, Hans and Bjarne
  10. Acording to the FIM regulations the team-managers have to annonce the line-up no later than 30 minutes after the Practice (the practice is on this afternoon)
  11. Why do you think Danes only can find the way round on a slick track ?? Take a look at the Ranking in the Polish Extra League - I don't think there are to many slick tracks there: Denmark: Nicki Pedersen 11,10 Hans Andersen 9,26 Niels Kr. Iversen 7,19 Kenneth Bjerre 7,12 Bjarne Pedersen 9,27 (Polish 1st Division) Total 43,94 incl. one rider from 1st Division Australia: Leigh Adams 10,92 Jason Crump 9,11 Ryan Sullivan 8,81 Chris Holder 6,06 Rory Schlein 7,88 (Polish 1st Division) Total 42,78 incl. one rider from 1st Division Poland: Thomas Gollob 9,13 Krzysztof Kasprzak 8,62 Grzegorz Walasek 8,54 Jaroslaw Hampel 8,00 Damian Balinski 7,92 Total 42,21 All riders from extra-league Britain: Scott Nicholls 7,87 Lee Richardson 6,56 Edward Kennett 6,00 Chris Harris 10,37 (Polish 1st Division) Simon Stead 6,75 (Polish 1st Division) Total 37,55 incl. two riders from 1st Division
  12. Well the Danish riders ain't hapy about slicky tracks, so I guess they are looking foreward to the meeting. As for home track advantage - Vojens surely aint a home track, since the track is not used in the Danish League, the Danish riders have not been there since the last World Cup held in Denmark. And finaly - it is Nicki (and not Nikki), but to you it´s actuly Mr. Pedersen !!!!
  13. Yeah who will win ??? Did you all hear what Adams said last night... "the Danes and Poland will be hard in the Final", but he never said anything about Great Britain...... mayby becuz they are not that Great ???? I think and hope for this result: 1. Demark 2. Australia 3. Poland 4. Britain
  14. You are absolute right, AJ is riding tonight and Balinski is in for Poland replacing Rune Holta.
  15. You are welcome - there might be some mistakes about the reserve-riders, but the rest has been confirmed.
  16. Two changes for the teams tonight Andreas Jonsson in for Lindbäck and Balinski in for Holta See the program here
  17. When the team managers have decided the line-ups after the practice, you can find a program at the Danish League Website - I will make a directly link when the program is ready
  18. Good luck to Team Great Britain - see you in the Final saturday.....
