I really cant understand whats wrong with Kings Lynn, tonight was fantastic and great advert for the sport. Yet here we are again where there seems to be a Premier/Elite thing going with this forum again. If it wasnt good enough then why did the FIM choose it, the likes of Poole and Coventry had had the big meetings in the past so why not let Kings Lynn have their turn. They did a great job and Im astonished at why people are moaning. GET A GRIP!!!!

That was absolutley fantastic, I'm so chuffed with our performance. My money was on the Aussies to go straight through but the Brits rode with courage and determination and I'm so proud of them. I Was really on edge when Woffy lost it to Ward on the line and then Stead falling in the first bend of the next race. I was so sure Holder would win the re-run and was amazed when he didnt. Its easy for the rest of the team to lose focus in the final two heats but Bomber and Scotty kept their heads and rode a blinder. I thought Scotty was sensational tonight, to be honest all of them were. Perhaps we might finish third in the final but tonight was just fantastic. I must say the track was awesome, the crowd was excellent and the racing towards the end was superb. What a fantastic night!!!!

I really do feel for Mildenhall, I too am amazed at how one person could get a stadium shut down. Your club has acted by putting sound barriers at a cost of £40,000 yet this one idiot still wants it shut. At Birmingham we had had problems with complaints about noise, the sound of the PA and would you believe even the amount of litter on the streets of Perry Barr. You always get people who moan, but acting on the concerns goes along way. Its why I'm amazed that despite all the hard work and expense you have gone to it still not make a difference. Not the best meeting to be honest, I thought the Islanders were dreadful only Nick Simmons, Danny Warwick and Dean Felton after his first outing did anything. Expected more from Brendan Johnson whilst Tom Hill and Ricky Scarboro seemed to have difficulty riding the track let alone racing the Heathens. It was a terrific performance from the Heathens, Tom Perry was pure entertainment when he missed the gate both in Heat 9 and Heat 12. Smart and Armstong were both outstanding as you would expect, disapointed in Jake thought he would go well tonight although had a good last race. Both the Heathens reserves, Ashley Morris and James Sarjeant did well. Pleased for James afer being dropped by the Heathens Managment. Lastly and by no means least, what a showing from Micky Dyer. The kid seems to have real talent and really attractive riding style, really is good to watch. Think he may be in the Premier League next season and I pray to god its with the Brummies. Awesome. Excellent Crowd once again, just a pity it was men against boys.

Quite a nice start to the day, the sun has come out so hope it stays good. Had a bit of overnight rain but looks fine at the moment.

Yes the Heathens are a strong team but its been MONTHS since they lost rode at Perry Barr :shock:. In fact they have only raced in one meeting at Perry Barr which was their opening meeting against the USA Dream Team back on 7th April. So bearing that in mind, I would think the Islanders are licking their lips at the prospect of facing the Heathens. Smart loves the track hes said that in interviews and should get close to a maximum. Jake started the season at reserve for the Brummies and showed good home form towards the end, he should go well. Apart from that I dont know about Dudley, its should be interesting to see how they go. The Islanders have struggled on the road losing all 6 however Dudley have no track experience at this track in the National League. They have all done well at Monmore Green but Perry Barr is such a different track. Dudley may be my second team but Im glad they are back at PB this Wednesday, sick of the sight of my main team throwing meetings away.

Fantastic Result for Dudley, taking all the points. Looking forward to watching them on Wednesday. Just hope Richard Franklin is okays, looks a serious injury going by the updates. Also hope Lewis Kerr isnt too badly hurt for Kings Lynn.

Amazed this is still on, been raining all afternoon. They say they have had drizzle but im about 10 miles away and its been quite heavy at times. Im not going to risk it, was really looking forward to this meeting too.

This should be good if the weather holds, hoping Kyle Newman can take the win but there are so many others that could do it. Might get there a bit earlier as I reckon there might be a huge queue at the gates like the Bournemouth meeting. Can see a crowd of over 2,000 there tomorrow easily.

Thought it was a decent meeting with some very good racing at times. The Dust was a bit too much but I dont think anything more could have been done as it was a hot day and they bought the water cart around every four heats. I heard there were a few problems with the second bend at the Friday meeting but it seemed fine yesterday however it seemed there a few problems with the fourth bend. We saw Alex Davies coming off the back of his bike after lifting violently forcing Jason Doyle to lay down his bike and alot of riders were lifting coming out of the bend. Jason Doyles 15m win was probably the highlight of the meeting but I was very impressed with Chris Slabon. I dont think it will be long before we see him riding in Britain after that, deserved the victory. Good Meeting I say given the conditions and always nice to see a big crowd.

Personally I find it hard to believe the attendance was 32,000 that seems a very low figure. So weve lost 10,000 fans in a year, like with most Newspapers I reckon its a load of bull. I was in the lower tier of the home straight and all three tiers on backstraight were quite full. Obviously there were pockets of empty seats around but I really do find it hard to believe that we are 10,000 fans down thats far too many to believe. Lets face it, how are meant to believe a newspaper that doesnt normally give a damm about speedway, they are just trying to do us down as usual.

Me too TNT especially as we lost 7-1 on our last visit to Stamford Bridge.

To be honest, I was very disapointed in Chris Harris. He threw away a good start and his gating in his final rides was terrible. He should do much better, hes won here before for godsake. I fear we are going to flop at the Speedway World Cup. I guess it might not be too bad if the likes of AJ, Lindgren and Hans Anderson boycott the event if the silencers are used.

Just got back to my hotel on outskirts of Cardiff and I have to say what a fantastic GP. The track looked excellent, probably the best its ever been and that provided some good racing. So glad Holder won it, I was cheering him on once the Brits flopped. I suppose Tai did okay with 6 and to be fair he rode a great last race. Bomber was piss poor really, 4 points from his first 2 rides and he still doesnt make it. Whats wrong with him, Cardiff is the pinnacle of the sport yet he seem not interested. His gating was awful and I feel Harris was a big let down. Scotty did okay, was quick in a few but as hes not a GP regular I didnt expect much. Still enjoyed the day, the atmosphere and well done Noddy on his win.

Well done to Sheffield but still mighty proud of the Brummies. Its always hard to win for the second year in a row so to get to the fina' itself was an excellent achievement. Thought we would'nt to get out of the group to be honest

Good Luck to Michael Dyer at Dudley, his trip to the UK was funded by the Brummies and I think hes an asset too. Really do feel for James and I hope he gets fixed up with a club soon.

Looking a decent line up, might pop along to this. From a Brummies Perspective I hope Kyle Newman does very well and should be good to see Aussie Michael Dyer. I read that we are funding his trip to the UK so should be interesting to see if he is one for the future.

Yes I believe the Welsh Open is on the Sunday the same day as the World Cup final. I too hope its an early start possibly a 12 or 1pm Start so I can make it back for the final which starts at 6 I think.

It should be interesting to see just how many riders will decide not to ride in the SWC this year if the New Silencers are used, will there be a mass boycott or is it all talk.

Cant see the Brummies in the Elite League in 2011 ( planning permission permitting), Crowds at Perry Barr couldnt sustain Elite League Racing and people would moan like crazy if we had an air-fence. Its not worth the risk.
