  1. Well I've made my mind up and Im going to go. Thanks very much for the weather updates.
  2. Thanks Guys I really am in a quandary about going, my plan was to go to Wolves last night and tonight. However last night I was ill and I would hate not going tonight only to find the meeting does take place. At the same time like I said, I dont want a wasted trip. The forecast is for this rubbish to slowly move away, and for a dry evening. Decisions, Decisions!! It would be nice if we can get a weather update on the Heathens Website, including how the track is holding up.
  3. Can somebody that is close to the track or even at the track PLEASE give an update on weather at the moment. I will be setting off at 5.30 to get my 2 buses to Monmore and I would hate to get there and make the journey back without seeing speedway. Many thanks.
  4. Big local derby action tomorrow and I m looking forward to it providing the weather is good. Teams DUDLEY: Kyle Newman, Jamie Courtney, Tom Perry, Adam Roynon, Ashley Morris, Darryl Ritchings, Mark Robinson. BIRMINGHAM: Jason Garrity, Luke Priest, Ben Taylor, James Sarjeant, Jaimie Pickard, Nathan Stoneman, Danny Stoneman. Bulls to nick it, first time I will be seeing Jason Garrity ride, so cant wait!
  5. I will be making the short trip to Monmore Green tomorrow to cheer on Danny King and Ben Barker. I honestly cant anyone beating Woffinden to the title again, it will be a MASSIVE upset if someone beats him to it. Thats why I think it would be better to have a Grand Final to decide winner rather than just the winner over the 20 heats. Confirmed Line up below, its only £12 Adult to get it. LINE-UP: Ludvig Lindgren (Wolverhampton & Berwick), Tero Aarnio (Wolverhampton & Berwick), Tyson Nelson (Rye House), Ilya Bondarenko (Leicester), Tai Woffinden (Wolverhampton), Mikkel Salamonsen (Unattached), Adam Roynon (Redcar & Dudley), Claes Nedermark (Newcastle), Lubos Tomicek (Wolverhampton), Ty Proctor (Wolverhampton), Ryan Fisher (Coventry), Ben Barker (Birmingham & Plymouth), Josh Auty (Coventry & Sheffield), Aaron Summers (Redcar), Danny King (Birmingham), Ricky Wells (Wolverhampton & Plymouth).
  6. I dont think its a joke at all, its only a challenge match that he is riding in, plus its the Heathens final meeting of the season. Its been a tough season for them, so for them it will be nice seeing one of their former riders to round off the season.
  7. Saw Nathan ride at Brum tonight in the under 16 demonstration races and I was very impressed. Won both of them with absolute ease and looked at home. He was just flat out and hardly made any errors, the second race his time was 65.8 . National League times last week were around 62, so that isnt bad consider Nathan was on a 250cc bike too. He should be interesting to watch on a 500cc bike. Hope he can make it in the sport and judging by tonight I reckon he could be a one to watch in the future.
  8. Just got back, here are the scores (sorry dont do bonus points }. Apologises if I make any mistakes. Raced over 14 Heats Team GB Select 1. Danny King 1,2,3,2 = 8 2. Lewis Bridger 2,3,3,2= 10 3. Chris Neath 1,1,1,2= 5 4. Ben Barker 3,2,3,2 =10 5. Lee Richardson 3,3,1,1 = 8 6 James Wright 3,0,2,3 =8 7. Craig Cook 0,1,0,1 = 2 World All-Stars 1. Jason Crump 3,3,6,3=15 2. Richard Sweetman 0,0,1,0= 1 3. Ty Proctor 2,2,1,6= 11 4. Ulrich Ostergaard 0,1,0,1=2 5. Claus Vissing 2,1,2,0 = 5 6. David Bellego 2,0,0,0=2 7. Sam Simota 1,0,2,0 =3 GRAND FINAL ( meant to be top 4 scorers in the team meeting no matter what team they raced for, dont know why Proctor wasnt in ) 1. Ben Barker 2. Lewis Bridger 3. Jason Crump 4. Lee Richardson Cracking race with a ding-dong battle between Barker and Bridger, good race for third place too. Young Lions Challenge Birmingham Bulls v Stoke Potters 1. Pickard, Webster, Hargreaves, Taylor 1-5 Stoke Potters 2. Pickard, Webster, Hargreaves, Taylor 1-5 Stoke Potters Stoke win 10-2 :( Under -16 Demonstration races 250cc Nathan Greaves, Josh Bates, Connor Moutntain Time: 67.1 Nathan Greaves, Adam Ellis, Connor Mountain Time: 65.8 So a great night and a massive crowd to give Phil a big send off.
  9. Tai Woffinden has pulled out so Chris Neath takes his place, Claus Vissing replaces Rory Schein who has had too pulled out due to his finger injury.
  10. I hope the Rooboy can ride on Thursday, love watching him ride at Perry Barr, he ALWAYS good.
  11. The programme last night said his average was 3, so does he have British parent/s or something like that. If he gets a NL place then that average would at least double, given what I saw last night.
  12. Final score 55-38 to the Bulls. Tom Armstrong looks one heck of a talent. Isherwood had a shocker for Stoke.7 rides, 7 last places. Ben Reade withdrew after a crash.
  13. I dont know why people are moaning, its only £10 for godsake. Stoke decide to use R/R at number 1, so what, that is their problem and I for one am looking foward to cheering on the Bulls. Its good to have something different to the Elite League and the young riders need our support. Get yourselves down there.
  14. Birmingham site says its Rob Smith instead of Paul Starke and Simon Lambert R/R for Stoke.
  15. Looking forward to it and I hope Wizzer gets a great turnout. I cant say I have heard much of David Bellago, he seems to be mainly a Longtrack rider but has he done any speedway before. EDIT: Just found this on him: http://speedwayresults.com/rider.php?name=David&surname=Bellego
  16. Even though I dont know what will be the Bulls line -up, I am quite looking forward to this. Stoke are having a great season and had a sensational win at Dudley last night. They should be a good for our side to face, whoever we might have. I would hope we are using a few of our assets, so pehaps Hargreaves and Ben Taylor may be riding. Hopefuilly the team will have can push Stoke hard for the win and we get some good racing. Just a quick question, I notice this challenge is over two legs. The return on the Birmingham site it says Saturday 24th Septemebr at Loomer Road but on the Stoke site it has it as 'TBC'. Will the second leg be on the 24th. Come on the Bulls!!
  17. Great News that Rooboy is riding, looking a decent lineup so far.
  18. Kennett could be facing a 6 month ban if found guilty, thats from the boss of Gorzow and a technical comissioner for the FIM. http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?hl=en&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dzuzel%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26biw%3D1280%26bih%3D804%26prmd%3Divns&rurl=translate.google.co.uk&sl=pl&u=http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2011/08/10/edward-kennett-moze-nie-wystapic-w-polsce/&usg=ALkJrhjSvKZe8sqFYSauheFVCRp7KL65pw
