Well Done to both Ritchie and Tom, both are having great seasons and really pleasing seeing them doing so well in this!!! -
Dont mind to be honest, alot of the time I watched it delayed anyway as I work Tuesday evenings. Although this week I am off but theres already Speedway on Sky, so will watch straight after that at 10. Works out quite well. At least Swedish Speedway is back on our screens and good to see Dave is doing such a grand job on Commentary.

Agreed, fantastic speedway meeting in what looked not the best conditions. Fair play to all the riders for putting that show for us and congratulations go to Elit Vetlanda on the win!!

Well Done to Kyle Newman, great seeing him doing so well. Has a heart of lion when riding a speedway bike!!

Well Done to Joe Haines on winning the U21 Championship, glad he won it after all he has been through. There was an interesting interview with Ty Proctor on BBC WM last night talking about Joe Haines's win, both he and Joe are good friends and Ty has acted as 'mentor' towards Joe. Interview on this link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/p00qzsks - Skip to 2:33:00 Nice to see Tom Perry doing well, been a fan of his since he started doing speedway.

Why No Live Tv Coverage From Polska In Uk

They stopped the DVD companies uploading Speedway clips to Youtube, so you may be right. Many of my favourite clips have gone . I just dont understand it, as surely Youtube is a great source for attracting new fans to speedway, everyone uses it. Shame but hopefully they will change their mind once they realise what a mistake it is. -

Well Done Smoli and Germany!! -
I reckon Harris, Woffinden and Nicholls should make it, the final place is not as clear cut. Barker was involved in the World Cup last year but I think his form in the Elite League this season has been disapointing. Only really the last meeting against Wolves did he show the form he had last season. Kennett has come back and done very well for the Bee's so perhaps he is in pole position for the final spot. Simon Stead is another that perhaps is in contention, has been overlooked quite wrongly in the past. I wouldnt have Lee Richardson, he made his decsion to quit Team GB and I dont see why we should persuade him to return. That is for Lee Richardson to decide and he needs to be 100% up for a return.

Not back untill June at the earliest, looks like he's ruled out of our plans in the EL. Really gutted as I would have liked to have seen him race for us this season. Cheers Len

Just been announced in the past 20 minutes that Swedish Speedway wll return to the channel in a two year deal. There will also be a change of commentator, Dave Goddard is doing it. He does commentaries from Brummies and Wolves meetings for Clean Cut Sports, so should be better than the last guy. Good news. -
Richard Lawson!!!! I saw him at Perry Barr twice last season, in his first meeting he scored a grand total of ZERO points from 6 rides . In the next meeting he managed 1 point from 3 rides. Has alot of work to do to even become a half decent top flight rider.

Gp In Auckland 2012

Surprised people had problems with Sky Plus, as it was absolutley fine for me. The first programme ended right in the middle of the Hans Andersen interview. However I thought it was fantastic that when the next programme started it started about 3minutes BEFORE the Hans Andersen interview so you missed nothing. Also it carried on recording right to the end and didnt cut off at 7. So fair play Sky Sports. After a slow start, I thought it was a really enjoyable Grand Prix. Some of the racing in the second half was very good I thought. It exceeded my expectations as I thought we wouldnt see alot of passing on a new track. There looked to be an excellent crowd, made up of alot of Aussies, some Poles and Swedes and I suspect quite a few Kiwi's. Delighted Greg won, what a way to start in the defence of the title. Good to see Nicki in the top 3, he had a very lucky escape when Emil took him out. For me you have got to say it was down to the brilliance of Greg, that Nicki wasnt run over. Hampel I think is in for a good year, next Gp at Leszno should be good for him to. Lindback for me was outstanding but sadly couldnt do it in the semis. The same with Gollob, he could have easily won today considering how dominant he looked. Decent return for Bjarne in just missing out on the semis. Bunyan deserved his point, he gave it his best shot but was always going to struggle in that field. Fair play to him Some poor performances around, AJ was one of them, perhaps he should have done a few meetings in Britain. Poor from Bjerre too, suffered bad with bike trouble. Difficult meeting for Bomber, think once again its going to struggle for him this yaer. Chris Holder was my tip for the GP, so a bit of a shock he didnt do well. Although he has become a dad so perhaps that affected him a bit. Congratualtions Chris on that So all in all a massive success in my opinion, Bill Buckley deserves alot of credit for bringing the GP series to New Zealand. Hopefully this leads to the GP series being a regular feature in New Zealand. Also we see a return to Australia too, but not at a giant rugby stadium like the last time it was there. Well done Herbie!! -

The viewing is much better at Perry Barr since they put the new stands in. You have an extra set of steps on the main straight, that usually gets quite full but gives a good view. Also on the main straight, towards bend 4 there is another new stand. That stand is for me the best place to watch speedway at Perry Barr , its raises you up alot and you get a great view of riders coming off the bend. That stand will fill up in no time today for sure. The other new stand is on the bend, which is next no the two stands you talk about. It doesnt raise you high enough compared to the other stands but its okay. Its the best its ever going to be tbh, Its okay apart from bend 2 now. They simply cant put a stand there without blocking the pits enterence, that would be against Health and Safety regulations. At least the viewing is somewhat improved compared to when we hosted the ELRC but the best advice like with any track hosting this meeting, is to get there early to get the best view. Its more or less a straightroad from junction 7 of the M6. I would just say to be careful of the speed camaras on the A34, the one just as you join the A34 from the motorway is the 6th most profitable one in the UK, catches alot of people out. -
