Well there were SOME idiots in the stand last night!! Fair enough boo the ref after the bike was on the side of the track and no red lights on, but why boo the Edinburgh riders?? What had they done wrong? Oh and a small group of idiots near us obviously wanting to get home for the match telling Kyle to get up and stop being soft I think Edinburgh would of won the meeting in the end and it was going to be a good finale so shame it ended that way, speedway fans are used to waiting around if a rider gets injured so I think we should of waited for another ambulance. Get well soon Kyle! -

Whats the rules with the joker / tacticals are you allowed one joker and as many tacticals as you want when 6 down? Can Hansen take another ride as substitute? Edit: And here he comes in the next heat!! -
Newcastle Vs Edinburgh {1.6.14 At 6.30}
Gaz replied to HadrianDog's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
To be fair its always been like that unless a rider is brave enough to go around the boards on 1st and 2nd or 3rd and 4th, the only other place to pass mainly is up the inside on 4th bend. Our team is mainly setup with a team of decent gaters (apart from a couple) and if they miss the gate they struggle to pass. The track has been probably the smoothest its ever been and not as many riders are getting out of shape from away teams. Well done to Edinburgh for last night and you did very well in the last 3 races. We should of had it in the bag and probably threw it away. If Cookie or Worrall struggle you will obviously start losing but they are on fire at the minute. Masters probably won you the match last night with a decent performance and big heat 13 -
Edinburgh Vs Newcastle (23rd May)
Gaz replied to CaptainAudi's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Lindgren is the least of our worries at the minute, even if top 4 scored 42 points between them we would still probably lose! -
Edinburgh Vs Newcastle (23rd May)
Gaz replied to CaptainAudi's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Lindgren didn't ride to badly last night and give 120% in every race which is all you can ask. It was only his gating which was the problem really otherwise would of scored a lot more -
Newcastle V Redcar Pl (sun 18 May At 6.30pm)
Gaz replied to StevePark's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Yes we did and if could of got Lambert would of had decent team, dont get me wrong I am happy with King but an 11.5 average and 3 pointer dont improve the team. King and Greenwood 11 points between them tonight, would Henry and Rosen of scored more? Yes! -

All the bears fans got home quickly, nice to see you all at brough supporting your team. Oh and yes they have made the team worse BIG TIME! Great (cheap) choice of guest -
Rosen stays at the same place as Lindgren over here i think.

For Sam not to be able to say his name after probably riding with him for years is shocking really, you could get some fans to do a better job than these two! -
Peterborough V Newcastle - Tuesday 29th April
Gaz replied to NeilWatson's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Fantastic racing and great effort from the lads. Poor decision from team manager to use Rosen on black and white in heat 7 when he had already been 5 1'd and it was his first time on the track. It was so obvious it had to be henry in heat 8! -
Fair enough but we very rarely make changes even when riders are underperforming
-
Why?!

Schramm is the least of our worries, some of the other more senior riders need to sort themselves out. Its no point keep mentioning changes every single day as it just wont happen or if it does they would probably take the easy option

Newcastle Diamonds Vs Scunthorpe Scorpions 20/04/14
Gaz replied to DIAMONDS's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Hahaha!! It happened about 10 times on Friday where riders pushed someone wide leaving them a little bit a room on 1st and 2nd allowing their team mate to come through, the difference was all the riders got on with it apart from Birks who spat his dummy out and acted the tough man. -
Redcar V Newcastle Pl Play Off Thursday 26th September
Gaz replied to dantodan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
The track was being mentioned by some of the Newcastle camp before the meeting even so I knew it would be a long night. You will probably read all about it in papers and programme tomorrow and Sunday . If some of the riders had Schramm's attitude before the match we might of won. Totally shocking performance by us and if you actually rode a line rather than mid track then passing can be done and even from 15m back (twice) People also mention riders mentioning our riders riding in to many matches, Rubbish! Look at Lewis Kerr best reserve in the league by a mile and rides in 3 different leagues. -
Some cracking value tonight, Bellego 20/1 (now 18/1), Bjerre 50/1, Milik 66/1 and Howarth 100/1. Bellego flying for Berwick at the minute so could be worth an each way shout

Newcastle Diamonds Vs Somerset Rebels 21st July Pl 6.30
Gaz replied to mike7164's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
No Lewis Kerr in heat 14 was an awful decision, Somerset were fantastic though and deserved at least the draw -
Mick was correct because if Poland won by 4 points both bets would be a winner so would win £410. Any other scoreline and you would win £200 or £210.

Swc, Event Two, King's Lynn 15/7
Gaz replied to Northern Exile's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Totally agree, the riders who did not get a chance at Kings Lynn took it very well, and all Cook has done is moaned at being dropped after trying hard but not scoring the points and now having a go at Barker saying 'No wonder the Aussies dont like you, because the Brits dont either'. Shocking!! -
Newcastle V Edinburgh (plkoc) 16/6/13 @ 6.30pm
Gaz replied to Mr Blobby's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Tully got 8 and was one of our better riders, trust me if we had r/r tonight we would not of got more than 8. Well done to Edinburgh and to Craig Cook who was awesome. I am also sure any Edinburgh rider reading one of pages in our programme would of got them up for the meeting before it had even started as it was talking as if we were already through. Maybe not the best thing to put in the programme even though it would of been meant as a joke! -
Well done to the lads tonight, especially Robbo, Ned and Toft. Robbo was back to his brilliant self and definitely has not lost it, his heat 15 race with Roynon was worth the admission alone, I think its more to do with his bike as at Brough he seems to go backwards when out in the dirt. I would definitely have him back as second heat leader but we will have to wait and see. With Lemon he seems to be going downhill rapidly, his main strength was his gating and is missing the start every time or getting pushed out and just sits on the line for 4 laps hoping for a mistake. A good turnout of Diamonds fans tonight, it was a good atmosphere and the riders came out to thank the fans. Lets hope for the same at Ipswich
