Glad Scott qualified as I doubt he would have got a wild card again and him and his pit crew knew this. The whole race had Scott and Bomber trying to pass each other, Scott saw the gap and went for it as any other rider would have done in his situation. The boy can't win if he hadn't have attempted it everyone would have had a go and because he has everyone pounces on him. No wonder he had a go at that bunch of Swindon fans on his way back to the pit after the run off who were shouting abuse!! And from what I saw there was no bad feeling over any of it, Scott went into Bombers pit to make sure he was ok. Why are people making more out of this than is needed??? The boys will be fine on Friday at Brandon over it.

I can't wait for this GP, making the trip out there with my Dad, would be nice to see Mr Nicholls take his first GP win.

Booked my tickets for Cardiff the other day! Roll on 28th June 2008!!! Not staying over, prob gonna get the coach from Coventry as they usually put one on, means gettin there early and the possibility of having a few drinks in the pub beforehand!! Saint Rob- completely disagree with your comments about Cardiff, the nolvelty value certainly hasn't worn off for me and my Dad, especially after Chris Harris' win this year!!

Me and my Dad are going, tickets on the first row of the back straight and we're flying from Birmingham via Zurich to Dusseldorf on the Saturday morning and then have booked a hire car to get to the Stadium and then stayin in Dusseldorf the Saturday night so my Dad has got a lot of driving to do, apparently stadium is only 45mins away from Dusseldorf.

I agree with the lack of preparation/professionalism/knowhow bit when it comes to the GPs. Surely he needs to look at the team around him and makes some drastic changes?? Maybe sack Havvy for a start and then look to replace his engine tuner with somebody who knows what they are doing perhaps?? Michael Lee maybe?

Maybe Scott needs to ditch the GM engine and switch back to JAWA??

I god damn hope so, he was poor on Saturday night, don't know what is wrong with him, good solid league form and then goes and rides like that in the GP.

Scotty and Bomber have both got difficult first heats then, never mind. Both to progress to semi-finals. Bydogoszcz should suit Harris' racing style, just open the throttle and go round the outside!!

Now I know I haven't been posting stuff on here for long, but isnt this thread getting a bit daft now? I'm all for everyone's opinion but think it's all getting a bit much now. Can't we all just accept the fact that some people are fans of Scott Nicholls and others just don't like the guy? Or is that asking a bit much?

On tonight's performance, enough said, Scotty you did great! And I think it's about time this thread ended or at least the criticism of Scott Nicholls ends now

No wonder no British sportsman doesn't do very well when their own country men lay into them all the time. Scott is a decent rider and who else is there? Fair enough Chris Harris is coming along nicely, but who else is there at the moment to compete on the world stage? Simon Stead - not good enough Lee Richardson - tried it, not good enough Edward Kennett - too busy throwing his toys out of the pram over Bjarne Lewis Bridger - not good enough yet too young Adam Roynon - not riding in the Elite League yet Olly Allen - not good enough Loramski - injured Chris Louis- too old/not good enough Need I go on? Give him a break and get behind him!

I'm just sick of his comments on Zagar being the Slovenian champion, there is no bloody other Slovenian rider to shout about!!!!!! And Tatum's Whoaaaaaaa after every incident, very annoying!!
