I don't deny they would be snapped up soon enough, but why would they even consider signing people in the first place if they were contemplating a move to the EL? it would have to be an absolutely outstanding offer for a club to change their minds and take the finanical risk of moving up imo.
With all this EL talk...what happens if this is the case (and I persoanlly hope it's not) with regard to Roynon and Bjerre whom we have already got signed for next season!? now I know neither are our asset, but I still feel it's unfair to agree contracts with them and then drop them entirely.
It seems that John was very lucky in the fact that the part of the eye that was damaged was the white and not the cornea/retina,etc. He's having it checked in about 4 weeks time. Hope he has a speedy recovery from this nasty injury.
