  1. Glad the danish team manager knows the rules ,totally clueless
  2. Just plonk it on OO,this is without money!!
  3. 1-2 the danes ,the biggest cert of ALL time
  4. Sullivan is just over rated pure and simple,a complete front runner, hardly ever gets by anyone.Mark just aint bringing his league form to the GPs but times are a changing with the likes of AJ.Holta,Zagar etc and you need to be on top of your game to do well.
  5. Forget the blatant hans andersen slow up for a second the real thing that made the difference during the play off and the final was one thing and one thing only GATE ONE.The riders couldnt get off it for toffee and i bet in 50 races at poole over the last few days [have no stats]but i would hazard a guess that 6 or less people have led round the bend from gate 1,let alone win the race.Team GB put up a great fight but you have to give the swedes credit and they really upped thryre game late on.In truth even if the horrible, slimy, hated by everyone hans anderson hadnt have slowed up i still think PK would have beaten nicholls. All 5 swedes and all 5 brits gave absolutely everything for theyre respective teams, pity the same couldnt be said about the indivdual world champion who rode like a blocked drain all night.
  6. Stick it in the frying pan and a load of piddly water comes out bit like the hans interview last nite.
  7. No it's not, the track could have been like the M1 (in fact it was towards the end apart from the dirt piled up against the fence) and the racing would have been still as good as the riders were so determined tonight. That meeting could have been anywhere and it would have been just as entertaining because it was do or die. Its the shape of the track that makes for good racing hence the great racing last night.
  8. Spot on ML as someone who has seem him in 20 odd meetings this year tonios style is a bit wild and he is on the back wheel alot but he is just over-riding and trying too hard. His first race when he hit adams was too impetuous fair doos, the incident with boyce was just plain unlucky and 50% of the time boyce would have been xcluded rather than tonio for not trying too hard to stay upright. The 3rd incidedent was just going for the dirt line.Nerves and over-riding yes ..dirty definetly not.
  9. Its a bit like an elite or premier team getting a 8-1 in ht 14 to make it a last heat decider, not really how the game should be played but that is the so-called rulebook. But i must admit i am well pleased that it didnt work for them.
  10. Oh no... here we go again. Havelock let his country down in the 2001 race-off, again in the 2002 race-off, then again in the 2003 final. For someone who is supposed to be proud to wear the racejacket, some of his performances have been woeful, especially from a former World Champion. In contrast, Screeny rode with a passion on Monday night. He should be in the team on Saturday, not Havelock. All the best Rob The thing is rob the last 3 0r 4 times joe has ridden at poole he has been absolutely awful and havelock[altho nowhere near the rider he was ]still has had 3 or 4 fair poole meetings this year.Add this to the fact that the track is liable to be quite slick and joe isnt the best gater then the right decision has been made. Its probably a load of waffle anyway that middlo and screen had a natter about it and plan A was for gary to ride in the poole meetings[1 or2].
  11. The worst one i saw was the crash poor dave mullet had at reading when andre compton went inside him on the first bend, straightened up and dave rode thru the safety fence and wound up on the hare rail of the dog track,it was a truly horrible incident because everybody knew the accident was a bad one and nobody could do anything about it.
  12. Although only open for a shortish time the racing at trelawney was fantastic every time i was lucky enough to go there.
  13. A gr8 day for the brits with loram and norris both reaching the semis.
