Hans Andersen
ruckerroo replied to pirate paul's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I wathed a poole dvd from 2 yrs ago, mark loram must be the easiest going rider in the world and even he got the raving needle to hans, who in his usual style rode up the inside of the corner and aimed the bike at mark. As scotty eloquently stated last night"he has got loads of previous for that",well said scott, you should have shaken him firmly by the throat. -
For once i agree with delboy. It didnt help that the track was ripped to bits during practice, the trackstaff dont have enough time to do a proper job, being marshalled by olsen and sky as when they are allowed to water etc. However it was safe, nobody got injured and the 2 teams that looked favs to qualify both did so.Apparently it was 37 degs in the afternoon around the practice time,it will be a lot better on saturday, especially if ole denmark gets stuck on the motorway.

Reading Semi-final
ruckerroo replied to Private Dancer's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
that match was raced on a wednesday after the bowser broke down.It was like the m4 motorway after ht 2,if its got any grip in it the danes will find a way to get beat.On paper tho they look a good thing to win tonight. -
Gb Selection For Play Off And Final
ruckerroo replied to BOWESIE's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
i thought that at first grachan, but he has always had boycies number round reading and look at the riders craig has beaten this year. Personally its a no brainer ,louis MUST replace stead,if middlo is a form book man he will make this correct change. -
Swc Event 1 - Rybnik
ruckerroo replied to Mateusz's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Credit to GB,i didnt give them any chance. Middlo knows the form book,if he reads it correctly there is NO CHANCE of stead riding on thursday,he is mediocre round reading to say the least. -
Bookies Giving Money Away
ruckerroo replied to bosnian's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
No britpete, all bases covered,i wouldnt back gb at 100-1,i dont think they have a cat in hells chance to be perfectly honest, how ladbrokes went 3-1 poland for the heat on friday is beyond comprehension. -
Bookies Giving Money Away
ruckerroo replied to bosnian's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Apparenently ladbrokes were 3-1 poland, god knows how they came to that price in a 2 horse race. -
Well done to hans tonight,as everyone says a rider of his calibre should be a GP rider. I thought some of crumps riding tonight was bordering on dangerous rather than fair.He stuffed both pedersens down the back straight a couple of times, admittedly the track was tricky tho.

Cardiff Attendance

Fully agree with chris brown. The tracks that are man made just seem to break up and rut, very little in the way of clean passes that were made without another riders error. -

I wouldnt back stead at 5,000,000-1,andreas is about the right price tho,a squeak. -
Stead is nowt special at reading.English speedway is in a terrible state at present.

Britpete what about niels kristian to score more than ferjan at 6-10,that looks a gimme. -
Dont get me wrong i would rather have pearson over millard commentating everyday of the week but i just dont agree with the amazing amount of bias trolled out by pearson and norris in particular.Johnno did a great job the night the aussies rode (tuesday) but he went about his job professionally with little or no bias to his side, this is sky sports ,a professional sporting satellite channel. On to the racing the poles were just different class mechanically to the other teams and won in a canter

Sorry cornishman, bomber and stead for me were going to be totally outclassed and i think simon has ridden reasonably well.Anybody who thinks the swindon WC round had anything to do with speedway needs to see a doctor, it was a cross between motox and grasstrack hence the english lads performance..
-
Surely a 70% fit loram would have been better than screen, impressed with stead who is riding well.
-
Bomber was completely out of control and would have come off whatever
-
Glad the danish team manager knows the rules ,totally clueless

Just plonk it on OO,this is without money!!

1-2 the danes ,the biggest cert of ALL time

I Despair
ruckerroo replied to The Grim Reaper's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Sullivan is just over rated pure and simple,a complete front runner, hardly ever gets by anyone.Mark just aint bringing his league form to the GPs but times are a changing with the likes of AJ.Holta,Zagar etc and you need to be on top of your game to do well. -
Time to go oh Middlo
ruckerroo replied to Vincent Vega's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Forget the blatant hans andersen slow up for a second the real thing that made the difference during the play off and the final was one thing and one thing only GATE ONE.The riders couldnt get off it for toffee and i bet in 50 races at poole over the last few days [have no stats]but i would hazard a guess that 6 or less people have led round the bend from gate 1,let alone win the race.Team GB put up a great fight but you have to give the swedes credit and they really upped thryre game late on.In truth even if the horrible, slimy, hated by everyone hans anderson hadnt have slowed up i still think PK would have beaten nicholls. All 5 swedes and all 5 brits gave absolutely everything for theyre respective teams, pity the same couldnt be said about the indivdual world champion who rode like a blocked drain all night. -
Stick it in the frying pan and a load of piddly water comes out bit like the hans interview last nite.

well done AJ+ tomaz wot a meeting
ruckerroo replied to sirmatty's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
No it's not, the track could have been like the M1 (in fact it was towards the end apart from the dirt piled up against the fence) and the racing would have been still as good as the riders were so determined tonight. That meeting could have been anywhere and it would have been just as entertaining because it was do or die. Its the shape of the track that makes for good racing hence the great racing last night. -
Spot on ML as someone who has seem him in 20 odd meetings this year tonios style is a bit wild and he is on the back wheel alot but he is just over-riding and trying too hard. His first race when he hit adams was too impetuous fair doos, the incident with boyce was just plain unlucky and 50% of the time boyce would have been xcluded rather than tonio for not trying too hard to stay upright. The 3rd incidedent was just going for the dirt line.Nerves and over-riding yes ..dirty definetly not.
