  1. I hated the Kim Nilsson. Signing last season but he really surprised me tbh, toss of a coin job between him and simon . Not mad on timo in the top 5 so no prob if either of the other 2
  2. He does go well at eastbourne tbh and he's at least capable away from home. Joonas can go missing in a season with them other commitments tbh
  3. Schlein would be an ideal second heat leader , I got shot down for that suggestion about 80 posts back
  4. I don't think lahti is the right pick of the 3 tbh,
  5. Frost wanted to spend more and increase the points limit IMO. Can't blame him for walking, he's prob done plenty in cold blood in the short tenure at the club Shame for all concerned
  6. what a lot of complete twaddle you spout ffs. Let middlo manage eastbourne or plymouth on a budget and hed be in the khazi like the other managers.
  7. commiserate brum on a good season but to be honest bar doyley they were bloody awful in both legs of the final. Well done to the pirates, once they wangled theyre way into the play offs there was no stopping them
  8. this is just turning into a complete nightmare from brum, the 2 reserves have been shocking in the final
  9. Could someone from the south mafia let me know the Poole septet for Tuesdays match please? I wish to place a large wager on the outcome of the 2 nd leg and I would like to know if messrs tungate and dyer are available for said fixture. Yours in sport, roo Coast ffs
  10. Great stuff , with half an ounce of luck the sky plug will be pulled and that go speed crap that goes with it
  11. The Poole way of doing things works with regard to crowds and money etc etc . Sadly there will be about 3 teams left who aren't bankrupt trying to go with them. Hope eastbourne sustain survival whether it's elite or prem or a mix of the two
  12. Gavan is as we speak chopping up some wax fruit to put on his muesli . Congrats to the pirates , all over bar the shouting
  13. The presh is getting to the brummies . Too many passengers
  14. Enormous plus that tungates out for Poole. If brum can keep it to single figures it will be a good effort. I just can't see brums heatleaders getting much joy out of the Poole top 3 but you never now. How they got there is history, let's hope it's a fair final, perhaps tungate and dyer may appear next week so 7 v7 for the title
  15. Thoroughly enjoyable match, essentially Swindon were bloody awful, typical batchelor performance when it really mattered. Morris didn't deserve to be on the losing team, the ht8 ride was terrific. The final should be 2 corking affairs, Poole favs for me tho, Hancock was sublime last night.
  16. Poole have one thing to look at from sf1 , they should be dead and buried really . 10 is plenty but you never know
  17. Eastie will go down the same route as this year. Schlein in at 5 to support bjarne with timo and simon starting at reserve, chuck in mickelson , cam and one other and tbf you've a team similar to the runners up one a couple of years ago
  18. As a neutral I thought it was a pretty good match on a tricky surface. Witches have to feel happy with 12 lead as after 11 it was too close to call. Barker had a bad night but his first lap of ht 13 to let risager get away was terrific team thinking. Whilst Newcastle are a really good side I think 12 should be just enough for ipswitch unless the home reserves completely run riot on sunday
  19. I'm at Yarmouth up the coast and its windy with odd bits of drizzle. It looks like any rainfall should have gone by 4 ish. Any locals with a report later on would be helpful
  20. A complete coin flip over the 2 meetings, all that old fluff from shovvy is pure gas . A bit of luck or an inspired ride could be the difference
  21. It all went wrong for the iow in ht 11 when a 3-3 turned into a 0-5 after Ellis shed a chain and the reserves bike caught fire, they completely collapsed after. The heathens will walk the league , well led , good reserve and top heatleaders. One thing tho, I thought this national league was for genuine up and comers ( of which it was great to see lots of youngsters on both sides last night) Do you really need the likes of boxhall (a capable prem league heatleader and an adequate elite league reserve ) poncing about in this league getting easy money rather than riding in a league that befits his talent?
  22. Despite being a commited team man sad to say we've seen the best of the bomber too . Top bloke but on the downgrade for me
