  1. Perhaps if coventry got their fixtures over in good time and not 2 weeks or more after the play off gold cup semi and finals then a, they might have been in them and b, one of the away sides might have tried more than a yard on sunday. i knew weds night that eastbourne werent going to try a leg and tbh if it gives them leg room for next year i dont blame them one jot
  2. Well done both sides in a rain affected final
  3. Eastbourne will be the biggest non triers of the entire season,58-32 to cov with averages a tumbling for the budgie boys
  4. As long as it keeps the majority of fetid under performing foreign rammel out its got to be a forward step. Wilson deans done a full year of commuted nat league speedway as has wacjnezcht , tho they are foreign they should meet the criteria really. They are no better or worse than Branford clegg etc Commited ffs
  5. Steve will have an overstocked net by fri lunchtime at this rate ffs
  6. Irrespective of the complete balls up last night the national league needs cradley and their travelling fans in it
  7. Sounds a bit of a disaster , hopefully all riders are OK for the second leg
  8. Hard to argue than on that average hans is a capable rider, good signing from ford tbh , no poncing about just got the man he wanted
  9. 51-39 to cradley would make it a good return
  10. Well done the Monarchs , piss poor from the tigers on the night tbf tho
  11. I also think that certain tracks have better atmospheres than others irrespective of the league. Although an infrequent visitor I love my odd trip to monmore green, I liked Queensway meadows but I wouldn't give you tuppence to go to blunsdon . This year my adopted team Eastbourne dropped 2 leagues and although I've only been to about 7 home and 3 away I've thoroughly enjoyed the enthusiasm in the side albeit in the bottom league I just don't really get this draft thing, way too much of a gulf in class amongst the young lads too I also think that certain tracks have better atmospheres than others irrespective of the league. 12. To my mind brum were a million to one in the cup when zach w got hurt. Cradley look to be a strongish side, depends how far clear they are after leg 1
  13. I'm in the minority thinking this will be tight over the 2 legs then.
  14. I like hunters style in the 3 times I saw him, he's a must for rye. Tricky if Hume and Alfie bow are in the 7 tho as one of them would be at n2 or 4 if all 3 are back
  15. Well done to Glasgow, Friday nights 4-2 in 15 set this up tbh Rebel fans you can't win em all, just accept you contend every year . Good luck to the Tigers in the final
  16. Lovely atmosphere in a really good crowd. Eastbourne solid, Wilson dean far from 100% and poor George had a nightmare. Ten days off will do them the world of good. Ellis is a world apart and the clock would have gone in ht 1 for sure On to a much harder 2 legged final v cradley
  17. Good match, lots of hard but fair racing . Kurtz had bike issues, niemenen was bloody awful, fair result. Glasgow must be favs really
  18. Better guest for Zachary sat night, be a tight match but all round strength will prevail
  19. It won't weaken brum much tbh, zachs got a high average and what with drury tweaking the weak reserves they will be a match for anybody
  20. I'm in the minority here but I think this could be tight over 2 legs, rye self combusted at eastie and they look much more solid with Hume in the team. Eastie by 6 over the 2 legs
  21. Let's hope for a fair final with OK weather, no riders going missing and others fully fit. You won't hear a peep out of fair minded fans then who wins
  22. Lol at rosco, it's the slow meeting that's put us off. They haven't taken part in either semi really
  23. Swindons top lads are embarrassing really, the tracks terrific for the time of year
