  1. Until brennan or spiller get in the 6 spot carrying 3 riders is going to make life very difficult. Powell has ability but needs experience, strudwicks hopeless tbh. Harris is doing a gd job at 2 considering hes eastbournes 3 rd reserve in essence
  2. Pooles team building has been exemplary tbh,all the wretching and moaning from others aside
  3. Weather seems ok for this one Looks a tight match on paper Ellis will have to go ttc with plenty of help from the other lads as kent look extremely strong top to bottom. Key man is charley powell getting among the points Could well be a last heat decider
  4. there must be more too it than this. no way would they ride an away fixture and a home run out surely. desperate timing by all concerned, if they had doubts they should have pulled the plug loing before march 21st ffs
  5. The league is utter scrap tbf, averages have dictated that a mid road rider like kylmakorpi is at no1 for a team , something he's never looked remotely like in several years in England. Sides that can't get riders, Lynn can't get a no1 for love nor money , lakers going squaddie, it's just complete rammel
  6. The speedway ticket including bus to and from ryde, Pompey to ryde on the cat and stadium entry used to be about 23 quid I think.
  7. i disagree 100% pitstop, kelsey would have had to ride in the top 5, something he is a mile away from being good enough to achieve, easties team is solid, compact and top 4 material
  8. It's a million mile better team than 2015
  9. nicki pedersens brother ronni was vermin on a bike imo. phil morris was the southern equivalent of james grieves, both very tough hard riders but i wouldnt go as far as dirty
  10. You can't have a weak rider like dugard or cottham at 2. Strength all the way down is the key
  11. I gotta be fair here, forget the bad 6 weeks at Leicester , he couldn't be assed with it there. Bar a ropey year at brum he's had about 15 years riding commitedly in England which stands for a lot. It's a crap league and if he can just ride like he did at eastie he should do a perfectly acceptable job for lakers
  12. I spoke to one of plymouths management at Taunton races yesterday , I think they've got a very good side, top 6 material for sure
  13. Personally I think Branford and Wilson dean were outclassed by Ellis but better than the rest in the nl 2015. However in brads case I think he will do well to attain about 4.5 average which is Obv a drop on the starting figure. Fair play to any side for having the balls to give him a go on a 5, he's a real trier mind Zach w isn't far behind him and starts 2 points less, I think he will push his up
  14. i know nothing about this years team but last year jacobs was muted to be replacing spiller after daniel attained his average, i imagine it wasnt high enough for that too occur.
  15. That looks a good home side at the very least, from the limited times I saw him at rye in his pomp robbo was tremendous
  16. Could old pk be in covs plans if he isn't at the wolves? On the downgrade yes but 5.5 odd average gives scope for a good rider to lead the side of you can dig one up
  17. will anybody take a chance on wilson dean on a 5? ellis is 4.79 and hes miles better than brad tbph.
  18. I couldn't have dugard riding in the main 1-5, I think he would score next to nothing
  19. Friday- the worst day of the week to travel. Speedway- dead in the water
