  1. with lots of one sided meetings in this league this meeting looks a cracker tbh, 3 good heat leaders on either side all good round the track, 2 young up n comers now in the top 5, and some reserves that tbh fall as often as they finish, a good meeting to go and watch ..
  2. The acid test for a side is when a reserve scoring massive points goes into the main body. I thought mildy might win at eastbourne last week but they were soundly beaten, brums bottom end looks as weak as any from saturday so be interesting too see what happens
  3. ryes inept management never thought about the racenight change, they cant have unless they did it too appease a few other promoters to get the bt deal, its left em completely in the khazi whatever
  4. I USED to love going to rye on a few Saturday nights in the summer circa 2010, it was pleasant, the first 2 bends were nice for viewing and the crowds were fine for div 2 speedway. Bar the track improvements since, the rest of its been a complete disaster, the fixed race night has been the final nail in the coffin. The new outfit have payed way over the odds for riders that are all going downhill form wise which is a crime, its a loss leader if you've a gd team and crowds are flocking in
  5. The acid test for these young lads mopping up at reserve is moving up into the side proper with less easy meat. Brennan and Jenkins have done v well, no reason why kemp and flint shouldn't follow
  6. Vissing is going to be the worst signing in the top flight since toby jo donned the skull n crossbones many moons ago. It defies belief how the rebs have slung wright out tbh
  7. I thought the dugards said they didn't want riders doubling up in 2018 ?
  8. one good signing, one very moderate one
  9. Dead rubber obviously but why did kent bother turning up, pathetic
  10. city rebels comments are bang on, ive no allegiance to any side but theres way way too much of a gap between top and bottom in this league, clubs will go under very soon
  11. I feel sorry for the iow promotion, forward thinking, people friendly, heart on the sleeve stuff. However they really struggle to get riders on the books, eastbourne are a long way from the best side in the league and theyve smashed up
  12. Fine win for brum, eastie not a patch on previous yrs
  13. How can rye house sustain speedway mid week with crowds like they got weds night?. they must have deep deep pockets
  14. you gotta sign riders on the up too achieve at speedway, ones in their late 30s are heading one way tbh
  15. Whats the next move for poole in a few wks? This replacement was just a tip of the scales
  16. shanes the sacrificial lamb whilst the other foreign scrap under perform
  17. I agree with city rebel, need to move up a league really
  18. The middle order needs help too tbh, them and buxton propping up the league i think
  19. Ryes pensioners are heading one way, the knackers yard
  20. What a fetid performance from the pirates. Im looking forward too shovvys report already
  21. Well done cov. Eastie arent a patch on yrs gone by, the no2 position is occupied by a reserve and the top end strength is ok but no better than many other sides
