  1. I think eastie have said they would like to run the home leg of the final on the 20th if they got thru, as city rebel said last sunday was a lovely day and it was a crime not to race, also cov may struggle to take a proper team to Arlo this weds
  2. ive a feeling this meetings not going to be run at all sadly
  3. Hollow win in a way coz poor jenkins injury was caused by baseby locking up , once a side is rr its v tricky to cover. Bebees fall was grip related too, bailey had a stinker . kemp looked unbeatable but got undone by a briiliant first lap by wood in 13 and fenced it. For eagles powell is nowhere remotely fit, brooks was great, baseby had a poor match but the 2 big guns were v gd Tough if mildy end up with only the nt after being so dominant but they dish the trophys out in october not july
  4. Perfectly balanced, enjoyed the racing, the track was good, mildy really had eastie by the gooleys but never pushed on. Dunno if wood had a bike issue not to be in ht15. mildy def favs but at half way it looked a rout, eastie battled well
  5. Panto season just round the corner, this lot of rubbish is the warm up, what a tragic sport speedway has become in england
  6. People will blame Eastbourne for a gung ho effort to try and race yest and they fell 45 mins short, today is the prime reason there are fans leaving speedway in bucket loads, beautiful day , what a joke.
  7. after 5 hours in the pissing rain , wind and cold at fontwell I couldn't wait to get home
  8. Next weekends long range fc isnt good either
  9. fyi its buxton 60-30 eastie if they ever get round to running that
  10. well don smederna, excellent thruout the final, dackarna were bloody awful mind
  11. Like it or not there are 3 leagues, what is being mooted will probably put the weak sides in the nl out of business immediately. For me speedway and greyhound racing are along similar lines, mobbed in the 60s to the end of the 90s, in steady decline ever since and only heading one way.
  12. Exactly, the kent forum warrior didn't think before he posted last night, sorry for Georgie and a bit sick for eastie too
  13. My only thoughts are too many sides having chasms between meetings and the largest gulf between best and worst in any league ever
  14. Yep, i think if i was mildys boss thats where i would go
  15. essentially everyones riding for 2nd place anyway, but it beggars belief why sides have 5-6 wk breaks with no meetings in mid summer. It could even be that the only side with the remotest sniff of giving mildy a match over 2 legs wont qualify
  16. Nobody cares, 4 heat leaders and 3 second strings, utter shoite
  17. Hottest summer for 40 yrs and teams are flapping and squawking trying to complete fixtures by a given date.
  18. Its just scary how good mildy are this year, theyve lost at least 7 points with josh bailey out and still won easy. Just no stopping them
  19. the race night is a massive positive wether you are from herts, Essex, surrey, Timbuctoo or anywhere
  20. that's probably the most sensible thing to have happened in speedway for about 25 yrs, I feel for the rye fans but they've local riders in the lakeside team and I think they will get belting crowds at hoddesdon of a Saturday night
  21. from national league evidence I was amazed Swindon signed smith, his form away from belle vue is pretty modest tbh, tom has limited experience of the bigger tracks but is excellent on the smaller ones, his big plus is he has good kit too.
  22. just the worst thing to happen, the 3rd heatleader to get crocked with play offs looming, irreplacable
  23. Last heat decider, i think its a massive neg for kent having hurry in for injured bowen and mr boxhall
  24. clegg needs to get out of the stoke side, they've dragged him into the gutter with themselves
