Leicester vs Eastbourne 05/07/19
ruckerroo replied to IainB's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Redcar will mash all 3 over 2 legs -
the rumblings at Eastbourne suggest grachans championship model, maybe slightly higher is muted to be the way. You are going to get a casualty or 2 but that seems to happen every season, after all most of the blokes you see in the gb take in both leagues anyway

Extremely hard lines on leicester , injury ravaged at the first leg and unable to find a guest fail narrowly over 2 legs. Eastbourne are dreadful on the road and tbh morley must be on borrowed time, awful yet again from him. -
Kings should win this if all staying safe

Leicester vs Eastbourne 05/07/19

I can so easily see lester hitting 60 tonight. I cant see morley scoring a point really and both eastie reserves should be able to score but they dont convince. One of eastbournes heat leaders has to get right amongst it tonight imo -
Brummies v Tigers, Scottish edition 3/7.
ruckerroo replied to Col's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
theres such a huge void between the best and not so good in this league. you've got sides like scunny and eastie that are gd at home and rank away. Lester, redcar and Glasgow seem good home or away. sounds like a fair effort from brum really -
they've replaced a reserve who scores little with a reserve guaranteed to score nothing, other signings are risky too
-
problem is widmans average is so low now you cant really get much of a rep

Its all about the tracks, terry daley is crap at the iow and campos is quite ok. A sensible change

eastie v lester kocup sun 30 june 3-30
ruckerroo replied to ruckerroo's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Ive no issues with the lions side tbh, i chose not too attend due to the travel, potential dust and possible lopsided score. If i lived half hour away i would have gone. Be v close over 2 legs, eagles are desperate on the road -
eastie v lester kocup sun 30 june 3-30

Apparently its rr for ritchie worrall, ryan terry daley in for bates and adam extance in for thomas. i was looking forward to 230 m round trip to watch this match but not any more -
i see sadly Richie Worrall got injured last night and several champ teams are racing sunday, getting a guest will be tricky, all being well eastie will be full strength, I wonder wether they will use the Edinburgh rider who had a stormer for them last time ? I think the home team should be capable of winning this time but on the form book lester should be capable of winning a 2 legged tie comfortably. Not such extreme heat sunday so hopefully the track will be as good as possible

It was a good match tbh, once kents reserves are fully fit they are still the side to beat. The dust was horrific tbh but there was nothing you could with a gale blowing across, bends 1-2 took the brunt. Woods looking really fast at the moment but his gatings not the best, I personally think kemps struggling for confidence, its a big jump to go up in basically his 2nd season in the sport and those first bends in the championship are very tough, not riding anywhere near his Mildenhall form of 2018 for me. I thought ledwith rode well , sussing the track out as he went, ht 13 was a scary for a second. Once ablitt and esp gilkes are back kent will get back to form

Wirtzfield could have a good night, hard for the iow to pummel kents top 4, 45-45

Scunthorpe v Eastbourne 28.6.19
ruckerroo replied to ScunnyDan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I think eastie might do ok here, still a home win but by 6 . -
I thought kent looked unbeatable pre season however they dont ride on paper, spooner has way too many pile ups and jenkins has been v moderate

Wolves vs Poole. Premiership. 24/06/19

Poor side wolves, very samey year on year, slinging scotty looks a very moderate move too -
Berwick v Leicester 22nd June @ 7pm
ruckerroo replied to screm's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
lester seem too be combative at all tracks, not many weak links, side to beat. -
Family ties dictate him riding really
-
Ryan douglas is the key to lesters success, hes having a great time of it
-
Sadly it would cost 12 grand to put the fetid car park before you worry about the laghole of a stadium interior
-
enjoyable match but got v cold and dusty later on. Couple of unforced errors did for the warriors in 12 and 14, wood well clear in 13 and Stoneman fell, Wilson won re run too. Plymouths team are well suited to smallbrook tho, they rode well

Its got to the stage where one league can only be round the corner. Once sky turned it up it told you all you needed to know. Ford is a lot of things but hes a very good promoter and lets face it,there are a hell of lot of championship riders in the prem anyway. I don't know if its the fix but if ford cant make it pay on his crowds, somerset must have done plenty coz they couldn't wait to drop, eastie were doing plenty 5 yr ago so they dropped down , Leicester prob got a bung last yr but they've quickly dropped, 3 eastern sides held up by one bloke, must be worth a try.
