  1. worked out great for eddie, just rock up for the home match v redcar, he cba away anyway
  2. I think speedway is along the lines of horse racing aand dog racing crowd age wise. The more younguns that get interested in the sport the better
  3. Tough luck on the iow, cant beat injury ontop of injury tbh.
  4. Shanes was a cert to get a big score last night, eastbourne are a poor outfit away from home and have a long tail. Bowtell looks to be improving , somerset have 4 heatleaders and 3 nl riders, eastbourne have the same set up but a much weaker top 4. The only team they beat was half a brummies side, early doors
  5. If you add up eastbournes results from ht 12 to ht15 away from home this season it will be positively frightening viewing if you support the eagles, they just collapse
  6. Are the iow allowed a guest for verge as he is 3rd in avs or is it just r/r, if its just r/r its a big loss
  7. The one thing nobody has even mentioned is that neither of the 3 Glasgow riders should have been on the racetrack, the introductions are done first, then both sides go out on the warm up lap when its safe too do so, not when they felt like it .
  8. shanes should get a boatload at reserve for brum, 48-42
  9. Nearly but not quite, poor from kennett and extremely good from redcar, i would like them to win the league tbh
  10. Times would suggest the track was fine, i knew pre meeting vissing would be rammel, he just cant ride small tracks. Well done to eastbourne, glasgow have been very busy of late, that may have taken its toll but its no excuse for craig cooks actions. A wizened refereee would have slung him out before racing for his actions
  11. The hotbed in the woods is a cauldron on busy nights, the likes of ward and woffinden cracked under pressure there in the past. Great job from the eagles mind you
  12. one key man will make the difference tonight, vissing, at times he is dreadful on small tracks, if he has a bad un tonight Eastbourne will go thru. Cant see much between the 2,6,7 riders but eastbournes top 3 should get amongst cook and Jensen. Also the only Eastbourne rider that can ride the white line is wood and he should be dealing with glasgows bottom end at hame. sadly im at Lingfield but it should be a belting atmosphere, eastie to sneak thru.
  13. lester and Glasgow going skint to try to win the egg cup
  14. Glasgow win away and next morning sign mikkel b anderssen
  15. if kent can limp to the play offs and somehow get 7 fit riders they are still the equal of any team in the league, they've had a shocking run of injurys
  16. THey cant be short of dough paying money for that top 4
  17. I feel sorry for atkins, this ridiculous points limit has to led to lads beings slung in the deep end very early in their careers, most of them after about 18 months in the nl, its a bridge too far for so many.
  18. Eastie just squeaked home in a tight match , racing was moderate tho, never too much between the sides, bowtell makes me shut my eyes watching him at arlo tbh. Rowe rode the white line well like he does. im a bit dissapointed in newman , hes thieving points beating reserves and not much else . stayed dry tho and crowd saw a tight match
  19. IF next yr is the year the 2 leagues amalgamate Berwick will be the first to shut ,imo
  20. No2 is by far the hardest position to cover in this league, perks seems above average in that position. Lots of sides basically have a nl heat leader at 2, sargeant should be doing way better
  21. weather permitting these 2 meet at Arlo sat night. The rebs were dreadful last time round but I feel this will be a close affair. bar r/r for the unwell wood I think its full strength for both sides top end for both look strong and the reserves are all roughly the same standard if somerset turn up with the intention of having a pop this could be v tight
