  1. Really good team management from rob lyon, did everything he could. People are worried about bjarne at reserve, hes not been shining but theres no tight corners at the other 3 tracks left and he ought to get his whack ( if of course panthers go thru)
  2. First time at speedway since eastbourne shut, thought it looked a tight match on paper. Proved anything but, kent outgated and outpaced on a slick track. One sided match and rushed thru.
  3. Cant argue that sheffield wanted it way more and were under no pressure, toft and palin seemed to ride new surface ok . Bjarne hasnt been same since that injury , providing pboro win thursday who rides at reserve in play off will dictate who they choose
  4. The weather being the elephant in the room looks to be having a say on matters from middle of next week too
  5. Be way way better for peterboro to have scott at reserve i feel, shouldnt be too hard to sort that .
  6. Excellent point for the monarchs, a match for any side with a full team over 2 legs
  7. Havvy is to team managing what colonel gadaffi was to peace and tranquility.
  8. Thats why i thought eastbourne would always survive
  9. Crump is just ruining his legacy, a fantastic rider of yesteryear getting mullered by people not fit to wear his kevlars, sad to see
  10. When you look at it with an open mind, no allegiance to any club, i cant recall a stronger 2nd division, admittedly it is made up of some journeymen who prob wont be about by 2022. However is it just a bit too strong ? Its taken eastbourne by admittedly bad management , it looks to have taken newcastle and might do for birmingham as well. Teams with packets of money even seem to be struggling to find personnel to compete . Is this the new fist div in essence?
  11. Kemp can ride the inside ok so should strengthen the monarchs a fair bit
  12. Listening to garry mays interview i wouldnt be at all surprised if whatever is the better league 2022 plymouth might be in it .
  13. Realistically its a big catchment area, if theyve survived crump and bjarne they should survive lawson et all
  14. Once 2 maybe 3 sides steeped in history jack it in surely the powers that be have to take a long hard look at themselves and the sport
  15. They must have been well behind even before the covid.
