Will people be able to afford to go
ruckerroo replied to bri1966's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I supported reading for years, iow in the prem after, nomadically ended up attending several eastbourne matches a season for last 5-6 yr. The goings on there has soured me so much im not sure wether i can be assed to a, attend a few fixtures in 22 and b, go back to being a nomadic eastbourne supporter in 23. That slimeball jordan has a lot to answer for too a lot of people . -
Teambuilding is about 2 things, timing and money . You have a fair support and youll be competitive and youll be in the market for virtually anybody at anytime

Its a monetary situation as always, poole, successful club can go the extra mile with signings as they pay well and on time

I quite like the oxford side but wasting money on crump managing the team seems an unnecessary monetary risk tbh -
Eveey person i have ever known thats run a tipping line has been vermin, even i was sucked in tho, i thought , like md that he was the bloke to take the club forward, a confidence trickster would be a fair summary of what he has done .

Rob, you arent trying to open a track with a one year lease and overheads far in excess of potential crowd turnover. You love keyboard warrior bashing when someone has a different view to yours. -

Oddly enough the mason family would have been ideal custodians of arlington stadium , theyve slung plenty in at brum and its basically burning money . Any consortium / partnership etc really would be barmy to get involved with arc at the wheel -
Birmingham Brummies 2020

its completely ludicrous to even attempt to run speedway at an arc venue, they are mercenary in every way and if the masons did their cobblers in htf can anyone else make it pay with double the rent. Just be realistic, arc dont want speedway at birmingham, kent, anywhere. -

Be lunacy to jump into the highest league. Sustain not skint should be the mantra . -
Its a dreadful state of affairs. Going forward if the club has any future at all it could put off any potential rider signing, albeit for a promotion that does pay .
