iv outstayed reading, iow and eastbourne in my 40 yrs as a supporter. Unfortunately the leisure pound is v hard to get hold of these days. Personally i hate these 5-6 team leagues with a huge chasm between good and bad.
As another poster says you have to disregard poland, speedway is park lane over there and brick lane over here.
As for promoters, they appear to be a thing of the past .
None of this protected racenight rubbish, race on the night that gets you the most customers, when its suits you, not other countries cracking the whip , preferably an amalgamation with 11-12 teams
The one single thing that poole do is they categorically race on the night that suits them, have for years. Other sides do too an extent but they chop n change. Its why the so called top league prostitutes itself to the telly money by racing when it doesnt necessarily suit them accruing a crowd.
Prime example leicester got great sat night crowds in the lower league when scotty was capt, now its a different matter for em entirely.
Instead of appeasing others race when youve the best chance of a good crowd .
Can't moan about birminghams managed decline really . Im not convinced that with a top 3 side they would accrue more support anyway . Drury seemed to do ok in the late 2000s but that's a lifetime ago . I do think that the time has come for one league tho or at least an overhaul . 6 teams does not a league maketh
Severe test for oxford tonight, edinburgh look pretty strong , lots of imponderables with a few having first look at the place, oxfords guests look weaker , 29 degs, be dusty as hell one would think . too tight to call
The comets team looks inexperienced at best , ok blasting round big tracks but no idea of anything technical . Batchelor will never ever be the answer at n1 , let alone tothers
We can all see what's round the corner for Oxford , the supporters are going to migrate to the cheetahs matches . I know they were desperate but Kildemands been gone for a couple years , the side really is awful
