I'm not happy about all this xenophobia ,these Aussies come half way round the world , they have trained themselves up to the top level on the dustbowls of the outback , they arrive here with all the necessary equipment required to race at the top level , swollen bank accounts with all the cash they have saved up , almost all of them have bought a property where they will live and work from , they have no expectations of reward and will happily ride for nothing as they do at home , not a single one of them would ever try to blackmail british promoters by threatening not to ride here .nor would they expect us to to alter the fixture list to fit in with their commitments in other leagues and world status individuals . why anybody would want to see teams of British lads, some local to their team ,when they can watch Australians of the same or lesser standard is completely beyond me , you should be grateful to the Aussies they could just as easily go straight to Poland or Sweden for the big money and cut us out altogether , personally I can't see why the likes of Nick Morris Brady Kurtz and Arthur Sissis dont do just that instead of getting mixed up with a poorly paid league like ours and ungrateful promoters and supporters

I was suggesting he did , hancock had a contract with coventry bought from cradley heath , if he no longer wanted to ride then .fine , but he does and is till owned by coventry , so if he wishes to ride for another club regardless of what country it is in , then he should reimburse the club who hold his contract , could you see manchester united , letting wayne rooney walk away and play for barcelona free of charge ,of course not .so why should hancock get away with it

they will gladly watch it fold , then there will be massive crowds at Vatchers youth championships , wanting to see the 8 future riders battle it out on 125s with half a lap gaps , MDL was a complete waste of time , name me one rider who has gone from MDL to the higher leagues , the MDL was nothing but a thorn in the sides of the promoters and referees , , sometimes the poor refs had to stay on for a full 10 minutes while the 6 races were run , and the demands of the lads riding MDL were getting ridiculous , some of them were even calling for enough time to get their breath back before their next race , and the promoters can do without the burden of their wage and travel expenses in these hard times , good riddance I say , the supporters would much rather listen to some inane drivel in an interview than watch kids developing anyway ,so best thing all round would be,to let some of vatchers schoolkids ride aimlessly round until curfew , then find the step up to NL too much and pack the sport in altogether ,

I think , Conspiracy theory here ..Lol Sandhu offered to help the Bees financially at Leicester ,as part of his bigger plot to empty Brandon , as soon as it was all settled removed the offer of help , BSPA decided Coventry couldn't afford to run and pulled their license. if Leicester or belle Vue had failed to run this year , the BSPA would have been happy to see Coventry race in a ploughed field with 50p bond so as to ensure 8 teams for the Sky money , as there would have been 9 teams .Coventry were viewed as surplus to requirements .

I have been saying for a few years we should shut the door on Australians and Americans ,and concentrate on British riders in British speedway , just got accused of Xenophobia by halfwit Liberals , or fans of any particular Aussie/Yank well it wasn't hard to let Coventry build a team ,make plans to run at Leicester and include them in the fixture list , then pull the rug from under them . so telling a few journeymen Aussies to piss off and find some other mugs to pay their wages should be a piece of cake
