  1. My initial thoughts were that Gollob was at fault for the incident,he definitely looked to see where Jonsson was,and then turned left on him. Watching the replays only confirmed for me that the wrong rider was excluded.

  15. yes,both of them rode for Newport,but in Joe`s case i think it was only a one off if you see what i mean. Tom,on the other hand rode for us often,can always remember he used to miss the gate and watch everybody go out to the fence on the first and second bend,and then he would sneak around the curb and come out either leading or behind his partner. not an easy manovoure to make at the old Somerton Park

  18. still remember his ride in this years Welsh Open Bryn,he should be full of confidence to take on the Elite league this summer after this winter
  19. had his debut season with newport in 1976,and when that team moved en-bloc to bristol he went with them and along with gresham frightened a lot of riders around that eastville track.
  20. i travel 2 miles to see a speedway event every sunday,and all season long i`m still waiting
