at this moment in time the 2012 elite league has no grand prix riders named in any of the teams. who are the 7 and which teams are they riding for next season. just being pernickity lol

could the russian ambassador not just have got a bike and took part. at least he wouldnt have 2 exclusions

does every athlete competing at the olympics next year need a visa and what about family friends and spectators. [ obviously this doesnt apply to eu members] somebody is going to be really busy

if you had read what i wrote, you wouldnt have written this. i said at the start. due to noise i misheard the announcer and thought he said scotty was wearing white so put him at 3 in my program, hence all the scribbling out. at some point you do need to know the draw to be able to fill in the rider order, so before you try to act all clever with your "SIMPLES" attitude read what people actually write. and to the people who mentioned that they got given a leaflet with the draw, unfortunately we werent given this, which if we were would have helped immensely

impartial and rob, i appreciate your answers but due to work i didnt have time to check the draw on friday and didnt see the pre meeting screening. if they had pot the names up at the start of proceedings then i and possibly others would have been more aware. im not saying its IMGs fault i made mistakes but a visual as well as verbal may have helped

some of us had a little difficulty filling in the programmws with riders at the start.this was done to too reasons. 1 we didnt know the draw and 2 as announcer was reading out the riders at start of heats 1-4 he didnt do them in 1,2,3,4 order and with the noise we misheard a couple hence scribbling out in programme. could they not have used the large screens and shown the riding positions as per the draw. this would have helped immensely

cant be bothered lol to go back and check who posted the 23rd june but kudos to him/her anyway as i also checked hotel prices and premier inns rates are a bit higher for that weekend . cwmbran where we stayed is actually slightly dearer than we paid for this weekend. date wont be announced until IMG have booked all their rooms. you heard it here second lol

on the incident where the riders rode from the wrong gate, i started to think about the resposibility of the riders and the team. now if gb were in the correct gate as per rob lyons programme as we have been told then why were british commentators and obviously the gb team wanting a rerun. if in their minds there was nothing wrong why the need to appeal? if they were in the wrong gates as per jan s spreadsheet why was the danish rider sent out by his team to gate 4. i didnt notice where the flag girls were located but if i was a proffessional rider and thought i should be off gate 2 and saw my flag at gate 4 i think i would query it. someone somewhere got it wrong whether it was the programme printer the riders the management the flag girls. maybe the ref had the same info as rob lyon so he wouldnt have noticed anything wrong because there wasnt anything wrong according to the programme. maybe he should have said yes i agree you were in the wrong gates you are both excluded for riding from the wrong gates result will stand

i actually meant that the reserve could be a substitute replacing an injured rider ie hans at reserve could have replaced nicki p in his last 3 rides not to be a reserve as in elite league where he can ride at any time. i was under the impression that a rider was only allowed 1 tactical sub ride anyway so the max hans at reserve could have had was 4, 3 of pedersens rides and 1 tactical sub

if a team was to name a potential match winner at reserve why would they not have named him in the team in the first place. example [forgetting injuries] why would denmark name hans andersen as a reserve in case someone gets injured. if he replaced pedersen it would be pretty much like for like, but, would they not have been stronger naming hans in the team with klindt as reserve

part of the problem in speedway is the constant tampering with the rules. the world cup as it is seems to be a reasonable format, every rider meets every other opponent and the best total wins. simple but effective. the only changes i would make are the allowance of a substitute for cases like pedersens. he is out of the meeting and therefore denmark have no rider in his heats.[ under normal conditions] secondly the joker should be scrapped or if we must keep it a team should be at least 7/8 points behind. a team 6 points behind could actually go level with the leaders in 1 heat which to me is wrong. a russian having 1 engine failure on saturday could have allowed denmark to draw level [ assuming they were only 6 behind] despite having a great night.

i dont think that adams did stay out of it and appeared to be genuinely racing. however if you thinl that he was or anyone thinks he kept out of it shouldnt you be calling for him to be punished for not competing. incidently didnt andersen keep out of it in 2004 by letting pk and scott nichols pass him. he didnt split them
