  1. No offense Joe but that's a separate issue. Tai did something a bit out of character and wasn't his greatest moment but everyone is allowed a slip up. In every other way he's acted exemplary so let's forgive him on this one and just appreciate watching an absolute genius at work which he really is at the moment. And by the way what a GP that was. I was fearful after the first 2 rounds but since then been a cracking series.
  2. I would say that's not just the airfences, it's the body armor, and belief in modern medicine too - but yes the airfences are a big deal. To suggest anything other then having the airfences is ludicrous though. For me the issues are, making sure the rider dont slide under the Airfence and hit a solid wall behind and how do we make the fences on the straights more forgiving?
  3. Happy to see this place back on the SGP circuit, really enjoyed my visit there.
  4. Does that mean the SGP Challenge will be able to view live?!!
  5. I forgot JG was one so I'll hold my hands up to that. But Royno instead of Lambert.. I won't even comment..
  6. 2 riders that were never going to improve the line up? Fair or stupid and robbing the paying public?
  7. KL obv don't think he has a terrible attitude. The GB manager doesn't either. BSPA didnt even pick him as a wild card for the British Final after he rode his Nuts off and was second top scorer in the World Cup for us - aged 17. Robbed the fans a chance of seeing him do 5 rides at Cardiff. I don't blame the kid for not being fussed about British Speedway. Shocking people want to have a go at him on here.
  8. Greg has been banned for what was essentially 1 meeting so it's not that big of a deal. I think that it is a ban that should suffice as he has been impeccably behaved for nearly 30 years in the sport. However (and I'm a fan of his) I think he's been a bit of a baby about it all. He should be happy that he's had his pat on the back form lots of the Speedway fraternity, let Nicki know enough was enough, say his apologies for acting in heat of the moment and move on in my opinion. No need to make any more comment. As was mentioned earlier, Tai isn't saying anything just getting his head down concentrating on himself and it's working wonders. I would say though, to me it seems this season people are definitely giving it back to Nikki more then he's used to. Or am I just imagining it?
  9. Ah you see SCB, I agree with you and don't think think because there is a gate bias it means it can't be a good meeting. I think it's a shame and a bit unfair on those that draw the worse gate twice but there can still be great racing. I was just pointing out it's not just down it being a temp track that there are massively favored gate positions.
  10. Point is people complain that it only happens on temp tracks (presumably just another dig at BSI)
  11. BWitcher I agree he's got to man up - but that doesn't stop the fact he's possibly the best rider in the world and he should be riding in the world championship
  12. That guy is so good BSI really have to pull out all the stops to get him back into the SGP. There's a serious void left by him not being there. On a side note, all those that complain about certain gates being favored at Cardiff/Horsens, need to be watching this SEC at Kumla!
  13. cardiff's social scene it literally outside of the stadium, hence all the speedway fans are together, that wouldn't be the case at Wembley there is nothing around the stadium the hotels might not increase but i wouldn't want to stay in wembley its not a nice area and if you're staying in the center of london hotels are not cheap the flights i'll give you but most budget airlines go into stanstead or lute, miles from Wembley
  14. I didn't say he was totally in the wrong I said he's moaning a lot right now and saying he did NOTHING wrong Sunday isn't the complete truth in my eyes.. My take on the Crash was it was a racing incident, he went for a small gap, which he was entitled to and I was saying that he knew that carnage COULD ensue going for that small gap. Because your wheel if half a meter in front does not mean you have total disregard for a guy on the outside. That happens for to often these days in my opinion.
  15. Doyle did not jump of did he. There was a collision at about 70 mph. Whether you're a Nicki or not - and I've said he had every right to go for that gap, read above - you cannot say Doyle jumped off thats ludicrous!
  16. I would agree that Nicki is getting a rough ride (scuse the pun) on and off track right now however I do believe he's made his bed with all that stuff. In my memory he's had public and on going arguments with Hancock, Woffy, Emil, Hans A, THJ, Gollob, Holder, Zagar and there's probably more who I've forgotten about! I don't believe there's a Monster monopoly. Magic, Emil, Hampel, they are Red Bull riders they've not been treated badly or had reason for complaint. Nor have any of the other non Monster riders. I think it's difficult to say Nicki did NOTHING wrong in Poland on Sunday. He knew that was a tight gap he went for and there was a chance of carnage ensuing. It was his right to go for the gap but at the same time he would have know what could of happened..
  17. I've no doubt is was something else Sir. Keeping fingers crossed we see a GP at The Olympic Stadium one day!
