  1. Absolutely spot on in Everything he said. I hope they listen.
  2. And it was pretty much an abject failure financially. The temp stand on 3rd/4th bend was empty. SWC 2016 it was full I hope I'm wrong, love Manchester, love that track, over the moon theres a GP there. Just the way this lot do things wouldn't surprise me if it changes to 1 night.
  3. and Id be suprised if they actually do the 2 GPs in one weekend anyway
  4. Sad day, really sad. The 3 home wins were as good as atmosphere as I can ever remember at any sports event Ive been to, Bomber in 2007 in particular. With regards to this being 'inevitable' I understand that but why was it ever put on the calendar? Its inexcusable really is. This lot keep making bold promises they do not keep and we now have a series in sub par stadiums with the only 2 riders that have a chance of beating BZ not allowed in the series its been a shambles. The business model is be propped up by Polish money and therefore they dictate what goes on. There will be a minimum 3 permanent Polish riders from 2026 onwards, will be 3-5 Polish GPs minimum, the PMZ will block Artem and Emil ever getting back into the series and unless a very wealthy individual decides they want to stage a GP in another country we will see no new venues. WBD have delivered on pretty much zero that they promised and its not a great surprise as I would assume none of them had even heard of speedway pre 2021...
  5. Appreciate the responses all. Should be a fun weekend in Pardubice with the Golden Helmet too
  6. I said there's a good chance not they already have...
  7. Looks like there is a good chance that Ļebedevs (SEC) Kubera, Lambert, bewley & Holder may have already qualified for next year. Who would come in?
  8. We'll see hey. I'm not overly enthused about what lies ahead but we shall see hey. Hopefully its a good series.
  9. A change of riders is good if its the correct riders..
  10. Sadly this is what we have now. When Discovery came in and spent all that money I assumed they really had mega plans and they were going to take the series all over the world, well it turns out all they want is content. It is cheaper for them to buy the series and put it on their platforms then buy the viewing rights to other sports. So getting riders from as many countries if far more important to them then having the best riders. Sad, but that's what we have going forwards. Unless viewing figures both on tv/stream and at the gate go down enough. Discovery are brilliant at presenting and with the social media stuff. And they are all very nice people. However literally none of them have any Speedway background, they are all new to it. So what they think is important and what the fans want will be very different. I guess they want to grow it and have their own ideas. Perhaps they are right. I just think this a disastrously weak field and BZ will keep winning till he gets bored.
  11. Pretty much spot on. Desperately disappointed with this.
