i basically agree with you,however i do believe consideration should be given to compensate for injuries

so in other words,this is not a WORLD championship,merely a world select competition. if the worlds top ten were all british,would you be happy for 8 of them to be overlooked,on the grounds of 'quotas' needing to be fulfilled for other nations? in 2003 britain had 5 riders at cardiff,this year only 3,were the crowds significantly different?

there you go again,subedei is his own man with his own beliefs,his views on this subject are totally different to my own. my position is,and always has been that scott nicholls is not in the same class as the world's top seven,i rate him somewhere between 12 and 20 in the world. i also consider him to be extremely consistant,as his scores bear witness. if anyone thinks i am wrong,i am happy to hear their case to the contrary,if anyone thinks being somewhere in the worlds top 20 is an insult,then that is their problem,personally i would be delighted to be that highly thought of, but i see no reason why i should have to ignore comments,suggesting he is better than he currently is. i would be grateful if you would avoid insulting me personally,by suggesting i am not capable of forming my own views or questioning my membership of the wwos.

great to see the consistant mr nicholls,prove my point yet again. three races against a top gp star,and three defeats. unbeaten by all other opponents.

harris clearly rises to the occasion when there is something to ride for,the world cup final offered team gb,absolutely no chance whatsoever,so scoring was left to the ever consistant nicholls. and where have i or anyone else in their right mind ever suggested bjarne pedersen was among the elite

having never met him,i am not qualified to comment,i think the point is that on tv he comes across as aloof, and offhand but maybe as you say he is a decent down to earth guy. personally i have nothing against the man,enjoy watching him ride and hope one way or another he is in the gp's next year.just lets not get carried away with world champion or worlds top 8 comments.

i think you maybe misinterpreting my posts,i genuinely believe nicholls to be one of speedway's most consistant riders. in the last six weeks or so he has scored heavily,including several maximums,has a fair return against decent riders such as kasprzak,pk and zagar,but has had 9 races (combined) against andersen and crump and lost all 9. its also worth noting,that in important individual meetings harris clearly has the beating of nicholls,yet in league matches nicholls regularly outperforms his more talented team mate.

another consistant night for mr nicholls 1/2 against kasprzak,and beats up on the lesser lights.

whilst i cannot see anyway he is in the world's top twelve,i am glad to see him in the gp's,as he is entertaining,and "box office" for the sport,whether that be, battling from behind in a race,having a strop at another rider,or doing one of the sky sports employees. the boy IS entertaining,and no one can dispute that
