  1. There is a Spoons in Burnham by the sea front which is ok.
  2. Glad Lawson has been moved from 5 to 4, had high hopes for him yesterday, and was disappointed. Im no expert but he didn’t seem to want it like the others. Maybe a drop in confidence is going on here, he needs to up his game especially at the OTA. Good luck to Jack , hopefully the No 5 jacket had not come too soon for him. Doyley looking like he is slowly getting back on it , so Rebels by 10 for me.
  3. Never saw that coming I have to say , great show after Monday’s no show.
  4. A vast improvement required for the Rebels to get anything here, Lambert v impressive on Monday as was Kerr. Lynn by 12 for me on current form.
  5. Great stuff , cheers R and R , I shall pass that on.
  6. Yeah I know that , but I was unsure as to why they are unavailable at the moment as the Cardiff ones are normally getable for months before the event.
  7. My sister and her partner are planning on going to this. Can anyone let me know how to get tickets or when they become available please. Cheers.
  8. Great report as usual ER, I asked for a top performance from the skipper and it looks like he delivered. Well done him and the rest of the lads.
  9. Tough on the Rebs losing BWD as well now for the visit of the Aces. Kurtz is a good shout as a stand in and knows the track well, while Shanes always gives100%. Still waiting for a stand out performance from the skipper, Rebs still not quite on it at the moment, as soon as they all click we should be comfy at home. For the Aces it depends which Rohan turns up, if he is on it things could get tasty. Cookie may have an eye on Saturday. Rebels should get over the line but the Aces have the personnel to grab a point.
  10. The champs looked very strong against the Aces yesterday. Batch and Bellego were superb, as was Musielak. The key for the Rebs will be Jake and Brad , who need to be picking up the minor places from Ellis and Zach. Now would be a good time for Jason to hit double figures around the OTA . Too many ifs and buts for me to make a prediction but hopefully the Rebs can get the three points.
  11. Bumped into and had a quick word with the delightful Bert Harkins on leaving. One of my hero’s when I was a kid watching the Wembley Lions back in the 70’s. Hope you got home ok mate , you did look a bit hot and bothered ha.
  12. Good meeting which Rye just about deserved and Somerset deserved the point. From where we were standing it looked like Harris dropped it on Allen a bit and left him no where to go, not sure about the updates who reckoned Allen got some unexpected drive. Sounds like Jake is ok though which is good. Nicholls the stand out performer on both sides and fully deserved the paid max. All the Rye heat leaders were all twitching and mucking about at the gate when against Doyle which was a bit tiresome. Jason for his part didn’t make a start all night and looked down on power to me. Certainly didn’t think Scotty would get past him once he was infront. Wrighty was competitive in all his races and all the others had their moments but not enough to nudge ahead. Brad was the stand out man for the Rebels. Gary will be pleased with a point, but the Rebels need to up their game a touch to go the extra mile. My first sight of young Jeppersen and I thought he did very well, sharp out of the starts and good pace.
  13. Oh by the way , well done Somerset on a good solid all round display, every rider with at least a paid win. I should imagine Gary and Deb are well chuffed.
  14. Doyley beginning to show some good form now, Wrighty and Richard both had good first matches at the Ota the other week . Can only see Brady and Josh causing a problem tbh, Rebels by 10 for me. Hoping Jack can continue his good form from Monday as well. Should be at Rye Monday afternoon for my first match this season.
  15. Well done Doyley at Belle Vue tonight. Looks like Wrighty had a goodun as well. Encouraging start.
  16. I’d go with Lawson at 5, he’s sussed the OTA now, Jack needs a few laps before he takes on that responsibility.
  17. Disappointing for him, he has been in good form in Aus.
  18. Oh dear, broken collar bone , didn’t see anything on the Rebs web site.
  19. Top man Ian “Statto” Belcher, my first friend down at the OTA .
  20. A very happy new year to all my fellow posters on here especially my Somerset mates whom I hope to catch up with next season. World Champion at #No 1 for us, we’ve come a long way baby.
  21. Strong middle order, but 13 could be a problem.
