  1. On current form this looks like a comfortable 3 points for the Rebels. Morris,Aspgren and Starke have all been on song for their respective other clubs this week. Olly Allen is beginning to become a force around the OTA ( two wins over Josh last week), so bodes well for him too. For the Bears, Lawson is having a great start and usually goes well around our place, Summers is a bit hit and miss though. Can`t see Konopka or Crang troubling the scorers too much either. Rebels by at least 12 for me, but if they are all on song it could easily be another top 50`s score.
  2. Truly scary moment for Doyley, especially with the way his head hit the deck,I must say I feared the worst. Good to see it is not bad as first feared, still quite horrific pictures of his leg wounds on twitter. Get well soon mate.
  3. Pardon, we also scored 8 more at Worky than you did at the OTA making it 16 overall, and also without our No 1 rider who the week before banged in a 15 point max. Josh scored 32 of Workys total of 82 points from 12 starts. Against many peoples favourites for this years title I`d say we were pretty awesome last night, not sure the same can be said for the Comets. However one swallow don`t make a summer and I expect the Comets to be there or there abouts at the sharp end.
  4. Robbo will give 100% for us!watch Brady though,I have a feeling about him.
  5. Good result for the Comets, I thought 10 points would be getable, 12 awkward , however 14 is tough. The Rebels though are bang in form around their own strip .I get the feeling the result will revolve around Josh, if he is on song I think the Comets will take it on aggregate if not ,the Rebels can do it.
  6. Tough opener for the holders at this seasons fav for most things! Somerset were pretty awesome last night and nobody has really battered us for a while even though our form has been a bit in and out so far. Once again I`m looking for a good showing from Olly Allen to continue on from last nights paid max,as we have been letting ourselves down at the end of matches especially in heat 15,an area where last season we were very strong. Safe journey up to all my friends from the OTA and also no injuries to either side please.
  7. I stand corrected Baldyman, I suppose the Worky logo should have been a give away doh.I shall read the posts and who sent them a little more carefully in future.
  8. Oh dear still trying to run Somerset somehow, how bad were your lot if Olly who has been struggling badly bangs in a paid max. Get your own house in order, win something worth winning (in the Prem) and then maybe you can have something to say worth listening to.........you got done by 40 tonight and didn`t win one race. Olly Allen will be given time to get his act together as was Shane Parker a couple of years back, if he does not he will be replaced, he is our skipper, we are the champions, he has to at least achieve his average. This is the way the club is run, we are not afraid to make changes when the need arises. It has been proved to be a successful ploy over the years.
  9. No questions need asking at the OTA mate ,we just needed to get our top two firing. They certainly fired tonight.
  10. With Josh and Mason ex Tigers and Worky favourites for the title you should get all 4.
  11. Rarely do regardless of the result, what`s getting to be a pain is this heat 15 business , points lost against P/Boro (twice), Scunny and now Redcar through getting stuffed at this time. To add insult to injury they were all 1-5`s aswell.
  12. You haven`t met me yet, be afraid..............be very afraid. Rebels win for me. I`m hoping Josh has a better meeting than the 6 he got last time he guested. The Rebels will also be hoping our skipper gets among the points as well, he needs at least double figures I think. For the Rockets, Kennett, I don`t think has pulled up many trees at our place, I don`t think he has ridden in a league fixture just invites. Boxall will get a "warm" reception I should imagine lol, Bunyard always has a go and Bowen is always a trier, I wish him a safe evening. Rebels by 12 .
  13. Good point about Kyle, ditto if our captain had managed to get more than 0 at your place maybe that result would have been different, swings and roundabouts.
  14. Your home meeting mate , one would of thought your supporters would be having a field day on here, not many supporters of any club like to lose surely. Enjoy your victory and see if your guys can at least fill this page lol.
  15. No, a few problems in heat 15 have cost us half a dozen points in the LC and a couple at Scunny,we have the whole season to sort that out.
  16. Normally I would agree, but when I was there the other week with the Rebels I was taken to task by Startline Sid who pointed out that the track has been changed a bit which has improved the passing.........not just gate and go. I have to say he was right and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the racing, none more so than heat 15 when Kennett gated and Nick Morris chased him down passed him got repassed and then passed him again to receive generous applause from us and also a large contingent of the Rye faithful.
  17. It`s irrelevant I think for the Rebels after last nights disaster, the Witches should be good enough for at least a point at Rye and that will be enough. The Rebels are a bit shaky at the end of matches at the moment which has cost us twice against P/Boro and also in the home fixture with the Devils. Better outcomes there would have seen us comfortably in the semi`s, The Rebels need to win the last two home games against Rye and Ippo to kick start the league season.
  18. Oh well looks like everyone agrees the ref had a mare . It will difficult from here but hopefully the rockets can do us a favour on Sunday.Heat 15 is becoming a bit of a pain, we need to start banging in the wins here, our current failure is costing us big time.P/Boro would not be nailed on for the next stage if we had closed the matches out home and away.
  19. Three points required by the Rebs for this one and then four if possible the following night to put us right up there.
  20. Claus has started very well this year two maxs already.I hope he can bring that form with him. Who is guesting for Barker.
  21. Yes,the loud one lol. Lol Thanks for the invite Sid, but I think my petal has other plans for me on Sunday,I shall return though at some stage.
  22. I agree, it`s tough at the top!, you would have loved it at Rye we were really good, Nick was excellent,as were all the boys. Who is, what a very siily statement........
