  1. If you mean Allen, he was second in the Queensland title last month. If you mean Holder, he was second in the 2013 NSW title. ... and you know this, how? Simple really I don't believe that managers make the team up as they go along. I do not know for sure but I would imagine that a couple of permutations are created and then hopefully put together into the preferred team. If Jake Allen is in these teams and they want to keep him then someone else will have to go, however we wi ll never know who these discarded riders will be, if that makes sense😀 ,
  2. It will be interesting to say the least to see what Somerset and Berwick will do with their line ups now , someone will be unlucky , just hope whoever it is gets fixed up ASAP
  3. Just seen on the Rebels site it's 5 years since we lost Emil Kramer, great Rebels servant RIP.
  4. You know that for sure do you ! , all I glean from this is that once again the people who run speedway in this country have shot themselves in the foot again and two bright young riders who were looking forward to a great adventure in England May have had their hopes dashed.
  5. Just read the article in the Star and it seems that the BSPA have said Jack is a now a seven, a decision which has also affected Berwicks team plans for Jake Allen who was also originally deemed to be a five. I will be very surprised if Charles is the one to make way.
  6. No point in any speculation regarding changing the Rebels line up until a definite yay or nay from BS PA imo.
  7. Congratulations to Brady for winning the NSW state title in front of Fricke and Masters.
  8. I've been following this one ever since it broke and I really do think its time to put it to bed now. There has been some unbiased sensible comments made by posters like Halifax tiger and tbh some almost unbalanced ravings by others lol ,all totally without any sort of proof. For me I cannot believe that the Somerset promotion would want to get in any sort of aggravation this year after last seasons upsets, it just does not make any sense. When is the time that the teams have to be officially declared and ratified, then we will see one way or other . 9. Bit difficult for me to attend these days due to my circumstances, it's a 320 mile round trip. We used to have property down there so it was a lot easier and my life situation was different. I would LOVE to be in the situation I was in in those days still never mind. It does not stop me supporting and following Rebels just because I am not there every week. Ha ha I'm sort of the regular Somerset guy having the banter with the other guys on the updates site. I always go to Rye and used to go to Reading for the away fixtures and have also been to Leicester . Shads may well have been to more matches than me,but then again if his life style dictated that speedway could not be accommodated in trips to the OTA one would imagine he also wouldn't go that often. I'm guessing your home track is fairly close to where you live, lucky you, if your track closed tomorrow would you be as frequent as you are now, unlikely.
  10. Would this be the same turmoil as we were last season, didn't do too bad though did we ha ha
  11. It is Josh , very good looking team yet again at the OTA, well done everyone down there😃😃😃😃
  12. Get this sports fans nothing to do with speedway , o Sullivan has just knocked in a 147 with a broken ankle amazing.
  13. I think Pontus will be one of them.☺️
  14. Don't think Jensen is coming over this year. Not sure if Josh is doing Prem this year either.
  15. Jack holder an exciting partnership coming here I think with Brady
  16. Regarding Sam and the way he was 'treated" did the club not stand by him when he was banned for his twitter outburst and put him in the team the following season. It was three into two didn't go as I recall and after being replaced Sam began giving off about being badly treated. If he is being realistic he will agree that 2012 was not his best form wise either. I liked him though and stuck up for him on this forum when other posters were slating him over antics at various tracks.
  17. Looking forward to hearing the line up for 2015 tomorrow night, I was thinking about this time last year when the original 2014 line up was announced. 1 Jason Doyle 2 Todd Kurtz 3 Ollie Allen 4 Charles Wright 5 Nick Morris 6 Paul Starke 7 Brady Kurtz Before anyone starts jumping up and down about Brady again, how good would this had been if it had been ratified.
  18. Well done everyone involved in keeping the Panthers going, see you next year.
  19. Good luck to Nick Morris after two great seasons at Somerset.
  20. every move I am very excited at the thought of watching and following Brady next season, on the occasions I saw him this year I was hugely impressed. Comparisons are common but he does remind me of the 17 year old Darcy Ward in the way he goes about his racing showing a maturity beyond his years. He has had a look at most away tracks and is a year older and has already bagged the u21 title in NSW since coming back from injury. Remember he bagged the fastest time around the OTA as well when people like Olly Allen were tearing it up every week. I particularly remember one race against Kennett at Rye when he led him for three laps. Eddie tried all things to get past but Brady just thwarted him every time and he made a slight error and Eddie was through and took the win. As they came over the line Eddie glanced over his shoulder and shook his head he knew he had been in a hell of a race. Judging by the line ups quoted above I think it would not be necessary for him to be looked on as the second heat leader anyway with riders like Pontus, Charles and Kyle Howarth mentioned.
