Scunthorpe Scorpions 2016?
Cliffeboy replied to Paul Johnson's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Welcome to him. -
Agree it would be nice to get Jack Holder who has stated in the Star last week his liking of the OTA. Not sure if there were any sour grapes over last years business, shouldn't be really as neither party was at fault. I would imagine he would probably go to Plymouth again maybe as their number one which would be a massive step up, coming to Somerset would spare him that pressure I suppose. Kyle Howarth goes well at our place and is great mates with Josh so I'm guessing he is possibly the favourite. Starkey and Wrighty are no brainers and reading between the lines in the Star again it looks like they are nailed on. The rumour mill has Tungate coming to us, must have impressed Gary at the Pairs.

Good luck to Brady Kurtz in his new adventure with Poole. On the occasions I have seen him he has always been great entertainment and a good point scorer for the Rebels. I fully expect him to follow Doyley and Zorro as ex Rebels who have gone on to GP level.

Are we finished now on this now, bit like Question Time in Parliament 😂😂 What's the position with Jack Holder is he definitely Plymouth bound ?
-
Well over

Thanks Mr B didn't realise Belle Vue were Friday's. Sorry to be a dumb klutz but do the British riders still get the reduction ?

Rumours are going on about Josh going to Edinburgh which would make sense for him if he is doubling up with Belle Vue, and doesn't he stay with Kyle Howarth who is also based up t'north. I'm guessing Nick will be at Swindon again so he may be in the frame again, but what about Sedgy who openly said he made error in an article in the star last year I think that he made a mistake leaving Somerset. More rumours abound regarding Ritchie with just about everyone, not sure if Gary will trust him to up his average to second heat leader behind Brady, which is where he needs to be imo. I would think Paul, Charles and Brady will be nailed on , which is a good start as continuity is vital I believe especially at home. Rasmus impressed at the back end of last season and Robin Aspgren certainly enjoys the OTA but not so sure on away tracks. It will probably be Ollie Greenwood as the 3 pointer but if we could get Zach W as well that would give us more options at the top obviously. Brady Kurtz 8.73 Cameron Heeps 5.87 Charles Wright 6.89 Paul Starke 6.0 Nick Morris 7.91 Ollie Greenwood 3.00 Zach W 3.00 Very solid at home I feel with enough in the tank to nick some away points and room for improvement.

Not sure you can say usually, in 2014 Doyle and many others were hit with the visa thing, and last season Holders average was changed after the Rebels were given a verbal assurance of an incorrect average, which also affected other teams, hardly usually. The line up has often been tweaked during the seaso with positive trophy winning results.

Love this, f**ked what up?A trophy every year for the last four years, bet you the Rebels are there or there abouts again next season. team is always announced at the Xmas do , looking forward to it.
-
I had Heeps pencilled in for us last season , on 5.87 he has at least a point in him extra I feel. Not sure about Tungate though.
-
What average is Rohan on.
-
I'm hoping the team will be built around Josh, Brady, Paul and Charles.
-
Yeah I know but I thought it had to be a NL rider who had not appeared in the PL, as I said not sure.
-
Well done to all the award winners in last nights presentation do at the OTA. Get well soon Doyley , great performance in Aus last night. Hasn't Greenwood got a Pl average, thought it had to be a NL rider at no7, not sure.
-
Hmmm, couple of things, he is 19, with one and a half seasons under his belt. I predicted he would become the No 1 at Somerset and he has. Pointless really riding for any other track where he has so obviously taken to the OTA. Many riders have bogey tracks which they struggle with at any time in their careers, I remember John Jorgensen being clueless at Rye and how good was he. Looks like doubling up with Poole next year where riding with Holder will help him immensely, pointless travelling miles to ride for another Prem team. Cook should go full time Elite next year so I'm looking at Brady being right up there with King and Stead as top bananas in the Prem.Unless Gary has some other direction for erthe Rebels I'm guessing Brady will be on the must keep paper.

No didn't say anything about Scottish officials just pointed out that the Rebels have been on the wrong end of some poor decisions in important matches. Do you think heat 2 should have been awarded and would you have been okIf your team had lost due to it. As for the 4's read the texters comments, one point for Charles in the re run and none for Cook and Rebels win. It's not whinging it's an honest opinion. You are a strange person, how did it not work then?, KO Cup winners, second in the table, and out off the play offs to a highly controversional decision in heat 2 today.
