  1. Wrighty definitely out with concussion, Brady Kurtz on standby to guest for Josh tonight.
  2. Real tough match in prospect, all our guys will need to be on it whilst keeping out of the way of Crazy Horse Garrity.
  3. Last 4 heats Rebels win 18-6 away, not much you can do against that form.
  4. Interesting reading on here about supposed lack of development at Rye. I been twice this year and I think it's coming along ok tbh. These things take time and money to achieve and the new promotion have only been in charge a couple of months. I can only compare the growth of my club , Somerset with Rye. Every season in March when we opened something different had happened, changes to the pits, changing rooms and so on, until we have what we have now. The new covered pits at Rye look great, the work done in the middle is coming on too. I think the racing has improved as well, not so much gate and go that used to make a visit to Rye a bore fest. I will agree the state of the track is at the moment is a bit of a downer, but good riders can ride any track imo. New bosses, new season , get behind them and see how it's shaping up in a couple of seasons. We are doing great at the moment, it hasn't been an overnight thing and long may it continue, I can remember a time when we were always in the bottom half of the league. Rye is a local club to me and I want them to succeed .
  5. After thumping the cats by 30 last time out, must be a home win.
  6. Word on the street was that clubs were scared on BWD's average of 5, and Zachary is averaging under 3 at the moment I think, you win some you lose some, but yes a gamble to start with.
  7. Absolutely flew out of the traps in 13 and 15, and basically no one got near him. Josh brilliantly done Robbo on the line in 13 to get the vital two point lead. Starky equally good with a tapes to flag win in 14. Good team of supporters on the back straight and "interesting" banter with Rockets fans. Got a bit held up on the M25 coming so missed you at the start, came round at the end but I think you had gone. The lads said they saw you though. See you next time ....said it would be close😉
  8. Looking for a win certainly, but I honestly think it will be close, see you tomorrow.
  9. Ha ha probably Shads, in the league fixture he beat Zagar, Cook, Nicholls and S . Worrall, and equated the track record, so I'm guessing Lemo looking for more of the same.
  10. Many congrats to Josh representing Aus in the SWC final tonight. Enjoy, stay safe, see you tomorrow.
  11. Tough match for the Rebels I think. We don't seem to be getting out of the traps early on in the matches lately, at Rye that could be a disaster. In the match early season when We lost , we were pretty sharp out of the starts, and just really lost it at the end. A repeat of the good start req. tomorrow please , and I think all round we should Nick it.
  12. Rye next up for the Rebels on Sunday where they experienced their only defeat this season. I shall be taking my daughter and her partner , so hoping the lads will get their revenge.
  13. Benefitted from being in a good Rebels team, plenty of time to come good, and as you said very young. My spies tell me his equipment sometimes is not up to it , not sure.
  14. Thanks Steve, seeding the holders is a much better idea. Prob makes them the favourites now I'd say, if they can get past the Rebels.
  15. Good luck to the Rebels tonight , hope Paul has sorted his mechanical problems out .
  16. Well done Wilson I was wondering when you would spot that ha ha
