Yeah maybe, but not at full strength as Josh was riding for the Tigers and Greaves scored zip. I think if Josh had been at 5 for us with Jake at 6 and obviously a suitable replacement at 1 for them the Rebels would have won comfortabley. Good work out for the lads though, Hoaggard had a good debut and Charles has now had two good matches. It's not rocket science to see that it will be very hard for us this season primarily in heats 13 and 15 away from home, but at home I think we will surprise a few people. Just getting ready for the long drive down for the Pairs tonight, can't wait๐

Just got the seasons preview Speedway Star edition today, pretty much everyone has us as no hopers. .... Sound familiar ๐ COYR

Just a warm up, both sides stay safe, hope the track is in top shape. -
Regarding Josh at 5, maybe Gary will move him and Pat around for home and away matches as he did with Josh and Nick a couple of years ago.

Oh ok, but not taking part in a competitive race as such. Thought I missed something ๐ณ

When was that Naj.

Holder and Lambert for the Stars.
-
So it's Patrick and Rohan for the Rebs then in the Pairs.
-
Not sure on this, but I think Olly had the best home average of all the Rebs.

I wouldn't be so sure that two riders who have never seen the OTA would start as favourites tbh. As everyone knows it is not a gate and go place, many many races are won by people coming from behind here. I'd be inclined to go with a pair who have knowledge of the place.
-
Looking forward to all of it.

Isn't Brady recovering from a bang up as well ?
-
I'm guessing Rohan and Josh for us in the Pairs. When will the full line up be announced, its only three weeks away now. It will give us a good early indicator on how established Elite guys who have not ridden the OTA will fare. Swindon will be favourites imo if it's Doyley and Nick for them.

Just been watching the second disc of the Rebels 2016 season. Getting more and more impressed with Jake Allen with every meeting. It's great watching the highlights but it don't beat being there, something I miss immensely. Apart from Rye House, next nearest is Swindon followed by Leicester both 90 minute runs on a good day๐.

As far as longevity goes I'd say Belle Vue, and also the club most people nowadays would probably know, however surely the biggest and most successful team must be the Wembley Lions. 100,000 fans for home matches, and also at one point a bigger supporters club than Manchester United no less. In the new Wembley Stadium in the club area there is a whole area devoted to the Wembley Lions and a bust of Sir Arthur Elvin.

I bought the highlights of the season DVD at Xmas, and agree, amazing ride by Starky.

Better performance by Rohan today in Aus , well done to him and also ex Reb Sam Masters.
-
Early impressions regarding being in the top tier of Speedway on this forum seems to be 20% discussing actual Speedway things and 80% personal attacks and criticisms. I hope once the season starts these figures are reversed.
-
Regarding Rohan the final round is at Kurri Kurri I think, a track he goes very well on. Hopefully he can stick some points on his score this time. As for the winner I'm hoping Sedgy makes it , ex Rebel of course who got his first chance in GB as did Sam Masters.

Yes correct Jenga, so how would the line ups be sorted for a play off. Yes correct Jenga, so how would the line ups be sorted for a play off. Yeah not having a good time at the moment. Still he started slowly last term as well, before really being on it for the second half of the season. Agree though that your number one needs to be on it from the start.

Assuming Glasgow win the league and Somerset were to finish bottom of the Prem, the Rebels current line up would make a mess of Glasgows current team in any sort of play off situation.
-
Not much to discuss at the moment I think Chris tbh. The team is pretty much what I think most of us expected. Shame no BWD at reserve tho, I think he will find it hard in Swindons top five. I'm following Rohan in Aus to keep me interested as I'm bored silly with Belle Vue and Coventry, and the handbags on the Poole thread. Poole remind me of West Ham FC supporters, fighting each other lol.

Oh dear is this the sort of carry on we can expect in the new Premiership every week. Think I may have to give it a miss if so. Please other teams if you must have a tear up on basically bu**er all do it on your own threads. You know it makes sense.
