  1. Hope you are wrong Naj, it all depends on how well Lawson goes. Tough gig tho even with Pat. Hope you are wrong Naj, it all depends on how well Lawson goes. Tough gig tho even with Pat.Wrighty carrying a knock as well isn't he.
  2. Oh dear not looking good at all now against the Aces. Already no Pat and prob no Richard .
  3. On present form I would say Ritchie over Rohan at the moment.
  4. Big blow, at least all the rest can take his rides. Ritchie Worrell if we have to redeclare maybe, going well . knows the place. Not sure of the average situation tho.
  5. From the reports it's doubtful that Shane's or Perks would have got close to Allen and Heeps, let alone any of the top 4. Wrighty would have scored more than 5 as well.
  6. Ha ha I see it the other way. Josh and Jake need to be on it tonight with three debutants .I think the vast experience of Ryes top order could be crucial. Would have been more confident with Wrighty.
  7. Will be an OTA specialist I expect of some sort.No wrighty for the Rebs either r/r for him. Baseby for Ellis Perks.
  8. Rockets chances go up a notch with a very in form Schlien, another guest🙄
  9. Have read this several times and have decided it's a wind up.
  10. Big change down at the OTA, feel sorry for Starke he will be snapped up at reserve and will do a great job, " Belle Vue" if he fits. Rohan just is not the same so half expected this, tough on Jan if the others had done their bit I think he would have been ok. Good luck to the new arrivals.
  11. Agree with this totally Naj. Somersets first ever season in the top flight was always going to be a massive step. Getting battered by the champs away no disgrace. Starting without Charlie and having a reserve who has never seen the track was also not ideal. Wolves doing ok at the moment but it was not that long ago they were propping up the league themselves. Bad luck against Lynn and Swindon have cost us 6 points, let's hope we can turn this around later. We do need a change, it will prob be Jan I would think to allow Starke and Allen to be reserves. Starke recorded two heat wins last night and was described as being quick by a fellow Wolves poster. My spies tell me his machinery is the problem, get that sorted and the Rebels will be very strong in this position. For what it's worth I do not think we will finish bottom, we need the bounce of the ball at home for a change and we will be ok.
  12. Very disappointed with tonight's loss tbh. Not quite sure what Gary does now. It seems when one of our riders is off he is awful. Josh is fast becoming the Mario Jirout of this team, he desperately needs back up of some sort. Winning positions being seemingly thrown away during races as well for some reason. I refuse to be too critical cos I'm not there watching and can only be guided by what the Statman puts up, and what my spies tell me, but from the outside looking in clearly something will probably be changed at some point.
  13. Another test for Somerset who will hope to carry on the fine form of Monday. The OTA faithful will be hoping Rohan can carry on his great score from Monday into this one. If he can I can see another win for the Rebels by about 6. No ef's or falls please, these have basically cost us 6 home points regardless of how Rohan has been doing.
  14. The team was built around all round strength rather than a couple of big hitters and low scoring middle order and reserves. Where it went a bit pear shaped was Rohan went right off. This is probably the type of performance Gary had in mind when he selected the team. Every rider bar Rob was at least paid for a win.
  15. There has been a lot of talk from the Rebels faithful that Rohan's equipment has been pony this season so far. There is not a rider in the world that can do the biz riding a donkey. I would imagine he had probably had to shell out in some direction to save his season. Well done to him today, one of last years real stars. In fairness we have all been saying that once he picked up we were not that far away from being a half decent team. Hope this is a launch pad now for the season. Also like to say great stuff from all the other lads as well, and thanks to Rob for turning out for us. Just watched Tungate v Cook heat 11 on speedway gb site, what a race👏
  16. Good luck to the Rebels today against most people's tip for the title. Safe journey to the hardy souls making the trip on a bank holiday. 😳
  17. Isnt it always the way , I would LOVE to be able to go every week.
  18. Just me and probably every other Rebels follower would have this sort of line up in mind. I think with Gary and Statman keeping an eye on all things pertaining to averages, the best alternative will take place.
  19. Last seasons fast starting Tungate would have dealt with Cookie, not so sure with this seasons version though. Hopefully this will be the meeting we see the proper Rohan, good luck to him and all the Rebs.
