King's Lynn V Somerset 7/8/17(£10 Adults)

All the Rebels need to be on it tonight especially Hougaard, who has crept back after injury. We need him banging in 8's and 9's. Looking forward to a close one . -

Dont think Tungate would have wanted to miss this one tbh. In good form as well. Just bad luck for him and the Aces unfortunately. Looked like there was some good races though. -

Took me four and a half hours to get down the other week for the Pairs only for it to be called off. That meant back to the pub till 12, not good when you have the Gp the next day. It's strange but when we had our place in Burnham I was getting in maybe 10 home games most seasons, can't recall it ever taking longer than about three hours, depending on whether we stopped. I think the only match I went to that got called off then was one against Edinburgh when the track was wet and the riders all ended up in a heap on the first bend . Since then on the odd occasion I come down I've been rained off a couple of times, very annoying. I normally take the day off and book into a B and B, your looking at the thick end of £100 for nothing. Oh well serves me right for following a team 157 miles away lol. -

Agree with all your points Gresh, if we pull this out of the bag it will be a better result than when we beat them at their place imo. Not enough regular matches at home is the thing for me. I have to say I follow the Championship with envy at the regularity of their meetings. I understand the valid reasons for going up a level, it will be interesting to see if it has a been a success. Good luck to our guys tonight, all riders please stay safe. -

Excellent guest who enjoys the OTA. -
Tough match in store for Somerset against the table toppers. No Fricke for the Aces, which I think makes them stronger with Cook, Worrall and a rejuvenated Tungate getting extra rides. Hopefully Josh isn't too bashed up after his spill. Two completed home meetings in over a month is a joke tbh, hopefully the guys can get dialled in from the off.
-
Josh now named as riding on Friday. Hope he is not too bashed up.
-
Is it bad , nothing on Rebs site.Looks like Lawson had a shocker, first one for us though tbh. We will need Josh on Friday against the in form Aces, if not we could be staring down the barrel again.

Thought he was unavailable cos of the three leagues thing. Somerset were snookered by this at the stsrt of the season. -

Lot of comments on here on how Poole lost this match but not many on how Somerset won it .Its been tough for the Rebels this year, Paddy form before injury had him ready to move to No 1, he looks like he was a pale shadow of that last night. I thought he took a lot of unfair stick last night, but was probably not fit. He still beat Kennett for a vital second in 14 after getting zip for his other three rides. The reserves matched Poole's scores and all the top three scored well. It's true we got a slice of fortune in 12 , but having been on the wrong end of a few last heaters at home ourselves, it was good to get over the line in this one. COYR 👍 -

Not forgetting ex Rebels Morris and Masters. -
Just wondering about this, every Rebels rider last night was paid for at least 9, every rider had at least a paid win and Charles Wright recorded a 12 point max. Is this a first Statto.
-
Only did a bit of the final. He was pants for Poole against us , so hoping he's riding. If not then King will get one of his rides.
-
Solid 8 from Wrighty last night, paid max for Newman against Worky and beat Cook a couple of times. Leicester have a genuine chance here now to get a result , if Garrity is not riding. On the flip side it will be a great boost if the Rebs can get a win by more than 8. A lot riding on this IMO.
-
Goalposts moved with the introduction of Newman and T Kurtz at reserve for the Lions. Not sure now, hope Wrighty is on it.
-
Will you be near the speedway track Shads, will your loyalty remain with the Rockets😉
-
Should be a win for the Rebels on Friday. Lawson, Josh and Kyle all good at our place, not sure Nilsson will be too much threat and King carrying an injury. Hope Wrighty is the one from the Belle Vue match , and Jake ditto. Good luck to Heeps on his promotion to the top 5. Rebs by 10 for me.
-
Is that right?, just one meeting, that's awful. I was all for the move to the Prem because of the lack of meetings with local teams, but not much good if your not getting your weekly fix of racing. I get withdrawal symptoms if we miss one friday😢
-
Always good from ER👍
-
Isn't it some sort of council crap. Have to admit it puts me off a bit. Took me four and a half hours once😔
-
You having a laugh😂, Batch, Rose and Huckenbeck have all gone well at Somerset.
