severnsider replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
There is also the fan zone which would start at a similar time. In the past couple of years this has been right in front of the bus station which is in front of the railway station. -

Article on Sportowe Fakty suggesting income from GPs isn't too far below Polish league level due to sponsorship income it brings in to riders. http://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/583201/czolowi-zuzlowcy-nadal-zarobia-krocie (Link may need translation which is just a click in Google Chrome) -

British Tv Rights For Sgp & Swc ?
severnsider replied to oleoleole's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
BT do a good job with the rugby and motogp so hopefully will be the same with sgp. Ideally like the rugby and motogp a highlights package would be available on itv4 but assume this is not the case. As regards viewing you can usually find all the gps, polish matches etc on youtube a couple of days after the events. (Mostly in polish but not always.) Racer & Royals is excellent at pointing these out -

Track looked terrific in practise without any ruts. Looked very fast. Over 5000 watching. Nice touch by Etihad to put on after party with band and interviews -
Australian Gp Is Back

Think it is due to the stadium being made for Aussie rules and cricket rather than for football and rugby. -

Zmarzlik has ridden in more gps than Piotr Pawlicki so by that logic it would make sense to give it to Pawlicki -
Or Rossi, Lorenzo and Pedrosa in Motogp. There has been a few changes over the last few years. MJJ, Magic, Doyle, Darcy, Holder, Woffinden all in last 5 years to name a few. The reason the same guys are winning is they are the best riders.

Swedish Play-offs 2015
severnsider replied to Ghostwalker's topic in International World of Speedway
As mentioned by a number of other a big thank you to Ghostwalker for the updates and information -
I would assume part of the reason Tai is going so well is because he is hasn't been riding in the UK and that has given him time for testing. In the Gorzow GP he said he had a bit of a dip in form around the time of the GP in Denmark as the Wroclaw track was unavailable and that his form had then picked back up because they had been testing in Czestochowa. It is possible some of this work relates to set ups and frames as well as engines in order to get the optimum grip levels/performance. If he was constantly travelling then this wouldn't be possible. This scenario is probably true of Greg too as he also mentioned his fabricator back in the US in his interview on Saturday Result worked well for their main sponsor as a wedding present too
