  1. was a very good meeting we forced my grandad and nan to watch who dont normally watch speedway but by the end my nan was shouting along with us at the tv hope todds nuts r ok
  2. sorry i disagree with you compleately vincent for two good points 1. this is speedway not football 2. middlo is british
  3. scb, its comments like that that make me loose interest in this forum periodiclly. what i was talking about was adding a point to the 3rd place riders score as he made more of his semi than the 4th place rider and that could be the differance between qualifing for the gp next year. The riders lower down the order are already separated by their match points.
  4. Every grand prix mysself and my father ask the same question why doesn't the 3rd place rider in the semi get 1point. This would reward the 3rd place man for beating the 4th. As it stands they leave with nothing?
  5. Tony seems to lack interest in these past two meetings weather its mechanical or phsycologicol you cant wright him off there is a long long way to go who's to say J.C. wont have a mare next week or maybe one of the newer riders pops up to ruin someones year by putting them out of the semi's.
  6. morrally cos i follow the falcons realisticly i cant get to ne were yet
  7. hi im goose some of you may remember me from exeter im sat in m12 wi ma and pa as usual I'm excited 'cos it's gonna be my first meeting since the farewell to the county ground as im not gonna watch speedway league racing till exeter are back.
  8. i didnt mean that sorry i mnt that the names dont imply any promotion etc
  9. the names dont mean anything on pupose because they have no bering on the quaility of riding its just names!!!!!!
  10. implies promotion etcc.......... iv sed this b4
  11. although i agree with your argument in part what would we rename it too 1st 2nd and 3rd divisions imply a promotion and religation thing going on so who about the british amatur confrance or BAC?
  12. and there is nothing wrong with that so long as no one acts inapropriatly
  13. i think you will find louise goodman doing just that !!!!
  14. yes thats right he should be fined i think as should they all when they do this sorta thing
  15. he got his point fair and square hope this is the start of something big for him
  16. Oh come on now being based in the south does not influance this! What is it with you northeners.... well thats unfair wot is it with YOU Crump is a profesional sports man and should behave acordingly. You dont see Shumacher, Alonso or Button take thier frustrations out on the itv cameras when things are not going their way? "If you can meet with triumph and disaster and treat those imposters just the same....." And before you say I'm anti Crump, i actually support him first among all the forgein riders.
  17. the way i see it happening is that a rider rolls back then is able to roll forward and anticipate the start and have an easyer start as the two plates of the cluch are moving. this means he can pull away smoother than if staitionary
  18. in my humble opinion riders who persitantly creep always line up further behinde the tapes than others to stop this i propose a second tap hel by a marshel behind the bikes at a set distance from the tapes to prevent riders lining up further away from the tapes than others if a rider is touching the rear tape it would be a tapes offence just a thought any comments
  19. m12 row 7 seats 2-4 ha myself with airhorn and whistles plus mum and da looking like they are not with me lol (as usual eh 5-1)
  20. good news i may b able to get to sams bar 4 cardiff if rents let me lol can u email me a mob no sting kirk.shepherd@virgin.net so i can find u in cardiff ta! im so excited bout the gp!!!!!!
  21. i think u will find that t.v. ariels use ultra high frequencies (uhf) to transmit sky waves that bounce off things and can pass through others or do both. When putting an ariel in your roof you will experience mild attenuation, so a booster may be required. However a sat dish uses micowaves (mmmmm food!) to recive signals which do not bounce, refract or pass through ne thing so must have line of sight.
  22. so u can pay £25 to get hammered at £3 a pint very mature
