The Club drastically needs to work on communication at all levels, be it Press Releases, Website Updates, Facebook, Twitter etc. 1. Most important issue the club have Alienated some fans who are unfortunate and have a condition that requires a Blue Badge. 2. The state of the team which is of huge importance to all Panther fans. 3. Where is the promotion of the club? I know people who have no idea Peterborough has a Speedway team and/or do not know anything about speedway. 4. Incentives for current fans to try and engage new fans, such as Adult tickets are £18 but how about a discount offer if you bring a friend. Say 2 for £25/£30.

Yep agree exactly this thread is constantly going off track talking about other teams or riders that were never signing for us. A forum gives people the right to post views of course but stick to topics. I like to read Panthers fan views or views of other fans on our lineup which is what this thread is for right?

Hopefully for Panthers sake they get some confirmation ASAP on final 3 riders, because information on season tickets to be announced Thursday according Carl. Some fans may wish to know the 1-7 before purchasing, although I bet season ticket holders are hard to come by these days.

Credit where it’s due they have communicated. Like has been said before because it is an averages game, 1 signing or not signing can be dependant on 2/3 others. Always 2 sides to every coin also so if £ is an issue then A rider could have the view that if you don’t sign me who are you going to get.  Panthers will feel that if a rider wants to do a full season in the UK then Panthers are the only option left, except for Ipswich number 1?

Yes agree. The local paper had quotes from Carl Johnson that they want NKI and that he needed to work out if he could fit in rider for Panthers. Suggests that he was considering it and maybe that £ was not the issue. Think this league is Monday’s and Thursdays again? So maybe his schedule is not working. As has been said in the past Tungate, Nicholls and Bech fits.

I do wonder if we are getting Nicholls. He did well at Wolves and they had enough to sign him but didn’t, they have come in at 1.86 under. Just a theory but if not Panthers then he is losing out on riding both leagues.

More than likely but was hoping for NKI. Bech can only fit at Peterborough, Ipswich or Wolves but Ipswich and Wolves would be well under the points limit, so it’s Panthers or the deal he claimed on his Twitter fell through.

Facebook page has Hans and Tungate picture with a caption this... Put money on they are both in this pending announcement. Then we will have a long wait for the remaining 2 riders IMO.

You could well be correct Bagpuss. For me if they are having to really convince someone to ride here it’s best we don’t get them, don’t think any fan wants a number 1 who is not overly committed or will leave mid season.

Find it odd, surely Hans has signed as not many places he could go if any. So why not announce it?? 1 name I will throw out there is Vissing, was a title winner last season.

If they sign Nicholls then I think they are looking at someone who can score OK at some of the away tracks. He struggled at home, I did only go to half the home meetings but every 1 I went to if he didn’t gate he couldn’t recover. Certainly a legend of the sport and I wouldn’t be disappointed with signing him but would hope for improvement at Home.

Agreed Foreverblue, that was 1 of the meetings I was at and as a Panthers fan who loves great racing I’d take a narrow win if the racing is good for home meetings as you don’t get anymore points for hammering teams. Happy with all 3 signings so far. obviously need heat leaders but can only sign riders that are prepared to be here and are committed. Would back KK if he signs but I am not convinced he will be doing so for the right reasons.

Maybe they will shock us, 5 riders left to name, and 5 days till Christmas Day...... Personally I am happy with MPT and BWD, if Panthers win most or all of their home meetings then they could make the playoffs. MPT in my opinion will score well at home as will BWD. The rumoured Hans and Harris also will in my opinion.

I am pretty sure I clicked on the Peterborough Panthers 2020 Thread.... Next rider announcement sounds like it will be Xmas Eve, will it be another ‘New’ signing or a returning rider from 2019?

This is most likely I would imagine, the only doubt would be Niels if Ipswich want him.
