Well said SCB these people on here are obviously happy supporting our national side that never wins anything. In other sports if you have 6 years at winning a world competition and dont the buck stops with the manager who gets the sack. These people on here are scared to say that Middlo has made mistakes tactically cos they dont want Middlos Number 1 fan and buddy Shazzy Bird on their case. Can I just ask 1 question people why are you lot happy to back a manager who doesnt win anything with the national side? Sorry to go over old ground but I cant understand why you lot are defending Middlo when he has been selected at every BSPA Annual Conference to manage the national side win us the world cup and has failed.

Shazzy If you and the other Team GB fans are happy with us reaching the final putting up a good effort but never winning then fine good luck to you all. I aint that is why I have been questioning Middlo as team manager of Team GB cos we never win anything simple as that. As I said if you lot are happy with us showing plenty of spirit like Jonathan Green keeps saying and finishing second like we have done this week to Australia and last night Denmark then fair play to you all I really hope you enjoy it. I am different I see it as winner takes all and no one remembering who finished 2nd or 3rd. Who do you lot think will win the final then? Let me make one thing clear from the start I would love Team GB or England as we should be known win it I have nothing against Middlo at all. I just cant see us winning it though Denmark and Australia are better sides. The whole point of my argument is in any other sport if you have a manager who has had 6 chances of winning a trophy and the team doesnt succeed then surely you have to look elsewhere? The boys show plenty of fight and team spirit seems good but we never seem to go that extra yard to win why is that? Surely the buck stops with the manager? Come on Middlo as team manager you must give us the best chance of winning the cup on saturday Stead cant ride Smallmead Louis can bring in Loobie for Gods sake!!!!! Middlo Thanks for coming on here and fronting up as it were. Firstly as I have stated before you are a very good club team manager as has been proved at Poole but in my humble opinion as you have had 6 attempts at winning the World Cup with Team GB and not achieved your ultimate goal it is time to move on and let someone else have a go. I am not slagging the team off as you stated. No one would be happier than me if we won the world cup and I will be cheering the team on at Reading on thursday you mark my words. Middlo is British good observation fella!!! The record books dont lie he has been in charge for 6 World Cups now including this one how many have we won NONE FACT check the records. Someone else should have a go a different voice may inspire the riders more. You have Mark Loram who publicly stated in the speedway star that he is amazed Chris Louis isnt in the WC team. This shows that Mark hasnt got faith in the team manager if he doesnt even agree with his selections. You can come second with me any time Shazz the White Cliffs of Dover would be a romantic spot

Not worried at all Pirate Paul when it came to the crunch last night and we had to win races to go through we couldnt touch Adams and Crump. So a good effort by the boys but not good enough again as the manager cant make them go that extra yard.

I dont know Middlo at all but he is an ex Hammer of course and seems like a great bloke comes on here and answers questions unlike other high profile speedway people which I applaud him for. I just think that Team GB as they are known need another team manager from 2007. No not Ronnie Rabbit I reckon the man to do the job would be none other than ..............
