hi Steve i think you are being a bit harsh when you say i have a beef with you for all the season i have rang you once asking if there was a chance of a ride for mike i agree you have rang 2or3 times asking mike to ride the first time he was all ready riding for kings lynn the next time for scunny the third time he was working the problem he has is he is on call at work 1 week in 4 and you can bet its the week he gets asked to ride; i know your job as T M is a thankless task at times but to see 1guest and not be able to find a 4th rider to make up L E the team made us a little upset as we are only a phone call away;or even call in for a cup of tea ; it would of been good to have ridden once for LE this season i fully understand teams putting out the stongest team each week but when there is a shortage of riders i think the squad should get first pick; not fill up with the top riders from other squads ie have a grading system of some kind; also as most people riding must find the mid week tracks the hardest meeting to get to and as there are teams that do not have there own tracks why not hire a venue for a day at the weekend if poss and run several MDL meetings that day it could get rained off but a least there would be no chance of time running out after the main meeting -

i can say i know one rider in the L E squad was never asked to ride in this meeting i would say its not what you know its who you no in this league -
Why do teams have to use guest riders when there are squad members NOT getting a ride; is it a win at all cost !!!!!!!

totally agree the money thats paid to nl riders is pea nuts poole could well run a nl side i wonder what they pay to get over sea,s riders i would think the cost of one would pay for a season of nl racing looking back think of all the local lads who have rode for poole

i hear tim nobes has been withdrawn hope he is o/k -
sorry to here the news Ben but its win at any cost in this league now; feel sorry for Tim having to go to mildenhall for his first away meeting if he rides like the exciting way he does on the grass then he will worth the entry money on his own

we were on the first bend on sunday and several times some one in the crowd would say fence him as the rider passed a scunny rider unfortunately it happened to stefen which made it even worse
