  1. Flying from Heathrow Friday morning. Fingers crossed all those travelling defeat the ash cloud.
  2. Bought tickets for Copenhagen in August via the Speedway Grand Prix website through Billetlugen. Being a tight arse they were the cheaper end of the scale £66 for one adult and one child ticket (back straight). The tickets were delivered to my home address a couple of days after placing the order. Probably the best ticket agency in the world!!!!!
  3. Had the same problem trying to book tickets for L19. Spoke to seetickets who informed me they didn't have that section of seats, that particular section was being sold through ticketmaster. Trying to speak to someone at ticketmaster proved beyond me. Probably easier to get an audience with the Pope!! Gave up in the end and have now booked tickets through seetickets in the middle tier.
  4. I went to Twickenham a few weeks ago for the Sevens. On the Sunday one end of the ground was for beer, fancy dress and partying. The other end was families only. Worked really well. Not forgetting England won the tournament!!
  5. Fair point Loyal. I sat in the lower tier next to a family of 4. An old family, age range between mid 30's to late 50's The old boy spent all evening drinking causing his behaviour to become more erratic as the evening progressed much to my 11 year old daughters amusement. As a parent I found this less amusing as his behaviour at times was beginning to threaten my daughters safety. At the end of the evening he was carried out, at a guess by his wife and his son in law totally legless. Even carried into the toilet!! Speedway is great family entertainment, Cardiff especially. I'm all for live and let live but it would be a great shame if the minority spoil what is a great sporting occassion which we the fans play our part in.
