At first glance (I saw the new format on Bomber's website a few days ago) I thought this was a reasonable enough idea. It always struck me as slightly odd that having made a semi final you made the final or nothing. Awarding points for the semi seems fair enough but how can you remove the (bonus if you like) championship points. The winner must surely emerge as the highest points scorer, or there is no point. I spend half my life defending the sport and this can only make that even harder. Mind you the not compared to the fact that having jokers in the world cup is "Oh you mean like it's a knockout!" difficult to justify when you want people to take your sport seriously! We should never be surprised by what they dream up!!!!
