  1. Yes the practice meeting was rained off but... Simon Nielsen, Jason King, Kalle Katajisto, Joni Keskinen, Niko Siltaniemi, Peter Sov, Steffen Jacobson, Robert Henderson and Rasmus Eklöf all had a couple of training spins in the wet. Simon Nielsen and Kalle Katajisto was the best on show and in my eyes young dane Simon Nielsen impressed me with his good riding. / Mikael
  2. Is there any liveupdates from this meetings? Or even a stream? / Mikael
  3. I will hand out the result here after the meeting on sunday. It will be good to see Michael Jepsen Jensen!!! / Mikael
  4. Jonas Andersson is from Östhammar nearby Hallstavik and is riding for Vargarna in allsvenskan and no8 in Västervik. Nice kid! / Mikael
  5. Next week will be one of the best for a long time for me, Zetters and Jarly then we are driving down to Vetlanda on early tuesday afternoon to see Elit Vetlanda - Lejonen and then sleep at Anders Nilsson place and on wednesday we are taking the supporterbus from Vetlanda to Gislaved to see the big final between Lejonen - Elit Vetlanda and then back to sleep at Anders place. Thanks Anders for letting us three Eskilstuna boys to stay at your place! Go Elit Vetlanda!!! / Mikael
  6. I think Hampel wil never again win Crump. Hearing Crump say to him when they were picking the gates for heat 17 that you take whatever you take and I'll take whats left and take care of the others was something I've not heard of before. For me it proves what a brilliant teamrider he is Mr Crump! Heard that Nicki had a awesome heat yesterday, Ryan Sullivan led by 30 metres and Nicki was last but stating Nicki himself 'I was getting angry and really wanted to win' so he took two riders at the same bend and then flew by Sullivan on the next bend so Sullivan has a cold now of the drag then Nicki powered into the lead!
  7. What a meeting, what a meeting the best? I have witnessed from Vetlanda. It was just awesome to sit in front of the telly and watch it on needles! Bad luck for AJ tough who had a puncture in the race off. Brilliant riding by; Crump, Hampel, Klindt and AJ. Attendance in Vetlanda was: 5411 Attendance in Gislaved was: 4016 Next week I will be very disappointed if there are under 8000 in Vetlanda!
  8. My 2 pences thinking of tonights matches. Vetlanda will win and Lejonen. The final will be between Lejonen and Elit Vetlanda. yesterdays attendances was: 5384 in Målilla and just 3120 in Motala I do hope the attendance will be higher in Vetlanda and in Gislaved tonight.
  9. And another chance for rain off or will it be snow-off!!!!?! I hope it can be raced for all 20 heats this time. / Mikael
  10. Anders are you mad Me watching Speedway beacause its my life, even if it is in Vetlanda or anywhere else. I have seen many good heats in Vetlanda live, but yesterday it was not as good as I as a airmchair fan wanted. And Anders I have never ever bitched and moaning about the Vetlandatrack in public forums. Remembering still the classic VM semi final from 1993 in Vetlanda - brilliant meeting with many passes and superb racing and of course then Smederna won in Vetlanda Heja Kenny Wennerstam! / Mikael
  11. Boring meeting that was shown on Canal+ tonight Elit Vetlanda - Piraterna. After seeing the start you could go to the toilet for a minute and not miss a damn thing.. It was just start and first bend then it was all over, boring.. I know Anders will disagree with me on this subject but the Vetlanda track is one of the most boring tracks in Sweden, there are rarely any passes and no close racing. I hope Canal+ will transmitting Dackarna - Elit Vetlanda next week, it will be a battle to remember! / Mikael
  12. Boring boring - old farts going through except Bjerre!
  13. Yes I was to fast in my writing. A short clip from Indianerna - Lejonen can be seen here: http://svt.se/svt/jsp/Crosslink.jsp?d=21146&a=1242120
  14. The meeting between Indianerna and Lejonen was shown live on Canal+Sport and it was a really good match to watch at home in the warm in front of the telly. Piraterna gave Elit Vetlanda a run for their money, Piraterna had a big lead in the beginning but Elit Vetlanda was better after the interval and the meetingscore was 49-47 to Piraterna. Dackarna - Rospiggarna was not a close contest if you look at the scores 63-33 to Dackarna. Rospiggarna missed: Adam Shields, Jonas Messing, Andreas Messing, Michal Sczepaniak and Lubos Tomicek. Next week Lejonen will win at home Elit Vetlanda will win at home Dackarna will win in Hallstavik / Mikael
  15. Brilliant to met you f-s-p! Hope you enjoyed your visit to Sweden and that you had a good travel back home. / Mikael
  16. Hoping for this result 1. Sweden -Sverige 2. Danmark 3. Polen 4. Australia But the outcome will look certainly like this.. 1. The great Danes 2. Australien - just 3. Sverige 4. Polen - Dosent feels that they are the power as at home in Leszno last year / Mikael
  17. Very well done SWEDEN - we are in the final a great effort from the Swedes
  18. And this shall be a race off and Russia are not even tracking a full team
  19. Better late than never.. Piraterna - Elit Vetlanda 20080708 http://thepiratebay.org/tor/4299630/speedw....pdtv.xvid-mmmm Enjoy!
  20. Thanks ALOT Doug for all the pictures, superb! / Mikael
  21. Iam sad not to see Emil on thursday he is always good to see that boy. Poor planning or not by FIM? Russia has to do there best even more now for Emil. Can it be so that the FIM people or who it is who are doing the calender didnt thought that Russia should get through?
  22. True words from Lynch. The riders are professionals? which mean they dont need anyone telling them that they shall do on the track - to give it all in every race, you has responsibility to the the public that pays your wages and to the sponsors. They are there to win it for all the cost otherwise they can sell their bikes and do something else in life. / Mikael
