  1. Hate to burst your bubble, but Nicki allways has gone well on big tracks that are hard to pass on. Tonight he was the best rider by a mile, but the track did help.
  2. I give up,think i will go and shoot myself its easier
  3. Done exactly as you say,and it vanished
  4. You must think i,m realy thick, but how the idiot do i do that,i hate this modern tech stuff, give me the old pen and paper any day,its less stressfull I dont know how to,i,v allready tried that stuff but get lost once it starts to download
  5. All you computor whiz kids out there, can any body help me to get a copy of tonights GP race sheet to fill in whilst i watch it on TV. I dont know how to download but if anyone can put a copy on this thread maybe i can print it off. Here,s hoping. Cheers. Hyderd
  6. Why all the doom and gloom,we were,nt going to win it anyway,so we should be building for the future and bedding 1 or 2 of our promising youngsters into the international scene. S Nichols. C Harris. S Stead. T Woofinden. get him in an England jacket before the Aussies do. J Auty. J Wright. L Bridger. In no perticular riding order with guys in the pits (C Louis,D Norris,J Screen,Havvy ect)helping our future England team to become winners again
  7. I sincerly hope that Ippo take there place in this years ELBP,i also hope that the BPSA take a look at this forum read what the supporters are saying and give all teams a fair chance of qualifying by simply staging the meeting later in the season
  8. Haveing reserves is a sensible way forward and being able to use them at any time is no different than other sports,ie football.Imo the only rule should be that the reserve must have the lowest average of the named riders
  9. here,s my prediction. 1 J Crump 2 H Anderson 3 N Pederson 4 G Hancock 5 L Adams 6 A Jonsson 7 J Hampel 8 B Pederson 9 M Zagar 10 S Nichols 11 W Jagus 12 R Holta 13 T Gollob 14 A Lindback 15 C Harris
  10. Not much point in any other riders turning up then is there,i think you might be overlooking the fact that Steady beat Scotty in 4 of the 5 rounds of the Australian Championships recently, and Steady was on borrowed bikes
  11. Maybe Sheffield was chosen because. A..It is a nuetral track to the riders competing. B..It is also a very good racetrack. C..It does have good facilitys. D..It is central to all fans EL PL and CL,the furthest track north is Glasgow 268 mls,the furthest track south is Plymouth 246 mls. C..As for the day, has,nt it occured to you all that maybe they could,nt get a Weekend,so they stuck to Sheffield,s normal racenight.
  12. Back in the days of the old B Vue(Hyde road)the BLRC as it was called then attracted full houses every year(i believe it held some 40,000)to what most fans said rivaled the, then World Championships,if this is a small step back to them days, then imo it is a step forward. Perhaps you like to sit back and do nothing, but i believe JC is trying to take our sport forward
  13. If you are talking about the last one at Sheffield maybe that was because that was PLRC(no offence meant)this one is ELRC the top 16 riders in our elite league on a neutral track(and one of the best in the country). If it dont tickle your taste buds, dont come,i,m just glad that someone JC is trying to revamp a sleeping giant. Here,s to success
  14. The only FACT at the moment,is that you can only ASSUME as the meeting is still nearly 7 months off. Sheffield is an excellent racetrack and those fans(for whatever reason)who cant make it,will miss what promisses to be one of the best ELRC.
  15. Still cant see any two beating J Crump/B Pederson, mind you anything can happen on the night, you can win your group, win your semi and :hey presto:one of your riders makes a bad gate in the final, your riders finish 1st and 4th. You lost. Cant wait.
  16. It may well have something to do with that, but on a brighter note now i know we are not going to win the meeting ,i wont have to bite my nails anymore
  17. Cant remember anyone saying they even had a chance.but once again,we wont be bottom
  18. I for one can,t wait for this match as Owlerton is one of, if not the fairest track in the country,as for the £20 admission fee,it,s only £5 more than we pay to see 2 top riders(1 from each team)so surely £20 to see the top 16 EL riders is,nt that bad. Also, some of you(and i dont mean B Vue )will get to see 2 of your riders . Another thing,it will give me chance to cheer on my 10th favourite rider, who will probably be picking up the siverware.
