  1. The two so called weak links did us proud, now if the whole team can up there performance just 1 tiny notch then who knows?.We may have the WTC after all
  2. Nice to see the GB team manager taking the time and trouble to thank the fans via our website,i wonder how many other sporting managers would do that ?. Still wont change my mind about the future though.
  3. Excellant result, poor racing to begin with, with very little passing but as the meeting progressed the racing did get a little better,oh do i wish the meeting was on a weekend,we left straight after work, after an hour of nose to tail driving,it was obvious we would not make the start time so we turned back and got home just in time for the parade lap on the Harleys,(mind you,it did mean we could have a curry whilst watching it )
  4. Your the only one on this forum who thinks that way ,so i suppose you must be right ,if you get your way, remember to lock up after each meeting, after all you will be the only one there
  5. we are setting off straight after work,so it will be tight to make it on time, hopefully the traffic will be kind, does anyone foresee any parking problems.
  6. Your comments are abit unfair, speedway racing was meant to be raced on shale not tarmac, tracks can still be prepared smooth with no holes but with enough shale to get tracktion on various lines of the track not just one,as was the case in Vojen,s. Denmark are a brilliant team and would probably of won the meeting anyway, but the main losers are the fans who were deprived of what should of been a great meeting. If the world champion cant pass, there is something wrong with the track. Out of curiousity, which in your oppinion was the better match, the WTC final at Poole 2004 or Vojen,s 2007.
  7. Cant agree with you on this SS,surely fans from Wolves P/bora,B Vue,Swindon Oxford, plus all the PL&CL clubs that are relatively close will travel to this match. I think the crowd will be good,i just hope the raceing is.
  8. If the track is prepared by or on Olsens instructions and the raceing turns out like that procession we all witnessed last night, then we,(the fans) need to use our feet to show our dissaproval,by that i dont mean stay away,i mean we need to all walk onto the track and demand they redo it so that we can get what we pay for aka RACEING. It pi**ed down throught the recent televised B /ham v,s Sheffield PL match, but the raceing was better than last night. Olsen should retire now before he retires speedway
  9. All home tracks should be prepared to suit home riders, and all GB riders love dirt, the track should be able to last over the whole meeting with a bit of track prep during the meeting when needed.
  10. must admit i,m looking forward to seeing Holder also, though i,m abit supprised he got the nod ahead of Watt
  11. There is nothing God could do at the moment with the current GB riders available, but the future looks better, but it would have to be with a better team Manager. Midlo has made some questionable decisions at both club and international level,so maybe its time for a change.
  12. The present riders and manager are not good enough to win this years WTC,3rd place in the final is about our worth, but the future does look abit rosier and with a younger manager maybe in 3-4 years time we could be pushing for 1st place. Future England team squad could look something like. L Bridger E Kennett D King O Allen C Harris S Stead J Wright J Auty T Woofinden (hopefully he rides for England and not Aus) Manager D Norris. I,M sure others have thier views but the persent Squad and Manager are not up to it
  13. Big headed fans Seriously though,i will be there,if anyone cares to say hello look out for the guy in the Status Quo denim jacket,if you are a guy tap me on the shoulder and say Hi,if you are a lady tap me on the shoulder and say,Hi sexy
  14. Because the British final was held at Wolves, would he of made it if the british final was held at B Vue or Poole?
  15. The only person who is bitter is. > > > > > > > > > ........... YOU
  16. What a night, got home at 02.00 after witnessing what can only be discribed as one of the most entertaining and emotional nights of pure speedway i have had the pleasure to see. Arise Sir Chris Harris, you made the whole British Speedway public proud and the rest of the world sit up and say "The Brits are back". I would also like to add my congratulations to Scotty, his riding was better than his points suggest.
  17. Cant see it anywhere else so who do you think/hope will win on Saturday, Think N Pederson. hope C Harris
  18. I,ll be there,if anyone cares to come and say Hi,feel free I will be stood near the pits bend with my Quo Jacket on
  19. Hi SB and anyone else who is reading this,I have managed to get the day of work now so will be there,i would like to meet fellow fans from this board but as i dont know any of you,if you see me,i,ll be wearing a Status Quo T Shirt, come and say hello
  20. Success, today i managed to change my shift so i will be there,if any of you are reading this please see my other topic,Re Tickets required.
  21. Can anyone tell me if I can buy my tickets on the door and are they any dearer to do this. Cheers. Hyderd
  22. I am working and no matter how i tried i could,nt get out of it,but we do have Sky Sports at work so all is not lost so i will be sat in front of the telly with my cup of coffee cheering on,(I Never thought i,d say this) A Lindback, Oh my gosh, i might just turn to alcohol after all
  23. If the BSPA knew that these problems could force the the event to change venue,s,then shame on them,it just proves that our sport is being run by a bunch of brainless morons. K Lynn is a good choice for the changed venue as it is still nuetral to EL riders but surely there are others,i saw Birmingham on tv and that looked an excellent track with good facilitys, and it is central. Another track which is nuetral is now Oxford
