  1. So in 2011 the bspa put camera's all over the place, the ref looks at all incidents over and over again, so as to make the right decition. Then I suppose we can all have a moan at the time he takes to make the right decition.
  2. Super meeting and one that will have new fans coming to the sport. Well done T Olsen.
  3. Phew, that makes me feel tons better, I allways thought I was the only one who doesn't have a clue.
  4. You realy need to take your yellow and black Glasses of CC, I have nothing but respect for C Harris and have often said I would love him to don the Aces race jacket, but surely Chris has had his fair share of GP chances. Britain at the present doesn't deserve a nominated rider, but maybe in a year or two young Tai will be mature enough to mix it with the big boys, as has been shown recently, that is his only downfall.
  5. speedway meeting are dangerous, we need certain obstacles in order to run the meeting ie, start Marshall checkered flags ect, what we dont need is a Professional rider acting like a spoilt school child and leaving their Bike in any place other than off the track. Tomas was a silly boy and I'm sure he now feels a right idiot however the authorities do need to take action so as to show riders that this sort of behavior will not be tolerated. I suggest a heavy fine and a suspended 2 meeting ban
  6. Not sure about your first statement, I saw it as TG tried to peg NP down, but NP got a bit to much drive which straightened him up thus taking TG wide, personally I think the ref should of excluded NP for that as NP was clearly the reason which caused the stoppage, however the ref ruled all 4 back. Totally agree with you 2nd statement.
  7. I dont see any Brits as good enough to justify a place in next years GP's, hopefully 2011 young Tai will of qualified and be there by right.
  8. Why was it Ludicrous, Jason came back to keep his sharpness up, as Sweden and Poland had all but finished. The accident was exactly that AN ACCIDENT. Well done Jase, and like another poster said it was great to see your family on track. I hope next year can be a repeat of this year, minus the injury. A MESSAGE TO THE BSPA. Please do something this winter to encourage the best riders in the world back to these shores.
  9. Just heard there will be a rule change for 2010, all bikes will be fitted with Indicators so that a leading rider can inform the rider behind him that he has made a balls up and intends to cut back down to the racing line, thus telling the rider behind not to go for the gap that he just left him.
  10. time stands still for nobody, all I would say to Leigh if i had the chance would be. Dont dwell on what you could of done, be proud of what you have done and thanks for giving us the pleasure of watching a true professional ply his trade. Hopefully Leigh will still be buzzing round the Elite league tracks for a few more seasons yet.
  11. Cardiff is a great place for a GP, but must cost a small fortune to rent the stadium and construct a temporary track. I wonder if the GP promotors have given a thought into investing some dosh into the new venture at leicester, surely by not having to pay to construct the track every year then their initial outlay will pay for itself after a few years.
  12. Tai's Parents are both British by birth who choose to emigrate to Aus when Tai (who was born in Scunthorpe) was a tender 5 years of age, as Tai grew up in Aus then surely it is expected that his fave stuff is Australian based,(and why not i'm sure it is a lovely country and possibly the reason so many Brits emigrate there each year). As regards the pit episode in the WTC, Team GB were out, his mates from the country he grew up in were still in the competition and it was also a FIA ruling that all people in the pit area wore the colours of that nation. One more little point, I have seen plenty of people wear replica football shirts from other nations, Brazil springs to mind. So IMHO, I would guess that Tai feels Aussie, one of his passports states that he is British and jeez we do need him right now
  13. A truly remarkable professional who has never let anyone down regardless of who he rides for. Long may that continue in the EL.
  14. It sounds ok to me, and also help get the EL so that teams only face each other once at home and once away.
  15. Thanks SB, can you tell me the scores of all teams
  16. Can someone please inform me of past full results of the EL Best Pairs since it was reintroduced, I have tried a search but had no luck. Thanks for any help. Hyderd.
  17. Agree on the weakest pairing tomcat, seems we have gone from past winners to last in this competition, on the brighter side our weak pairing , which was constantly thrown down our throat finished the meeting a mere 2 pts behind Swindon. Congrats must go to Poole, thoroughly deserving with some great team riding.
  18. The rules are unfair but only to the team that cant play their joker, and for that reason I would say that no team can play their Joker after heat 19, but are allowed to substitute 1 rider in 1 of the final 5 heats, but the points they score in that heat don't count double. There, more confusion.
  19. Maybe they say England England England, because they are English riders representing Team GB,at Wimbledon a certain A Murray was the Scottish Tennis Player representing GB, but referred to by commentators as Scottish.
  20. Snyper, if you havn't noticed its called teamGB, which includes all British riders, unfortunately Welsh, Irish and your beloved Scotland dont have riders good enough to even challenge the present English riders who wear the teamGB race suit.
  21. Dont know how true it is, but i'v just read that Eastbourne are now running this meeting again.
  22. Emil is a racer through and through, the only thing he was guilty of there was losing his ballance due to ducking under Hans handlebars coming into the bend, If he is guilty of anything then IMO it is his desire to fight with anyone who gets in his way.
  23. 1 I Mauger 2 P Collins 3 O Fundin 4 H Nielsen 5 J Crump 6 G Hancock 7 T Gollob
