  1. It would be a sad day if Darcy now decided to turn his back on the EL this coming season, but the look on Maud's face would make it worth while.
  2. great signing for Coventry, now what was some Poole fans saying?
  3. welcome back Craig, the team is taking shape nicely.
  4. Totally agree, Holder is an out and out racer and needs to focus on getting his race fitness as sharp as possible, and where better than against the top riders in the world which sadly ain't over here any more. Hopefully in a few years time the EL will get better and start to attract the top riders again which we all hope will include some British riders. I hope though that Holder unlike some other top riders remembers that Britain is where they cut their teeth in Speedway.
  5. Weird rider, didn't he post a 21 point max at Lakeside
  6. I thought the riders at 6 and 7 (reserves) will be allocated from a pool of N L riders, where does Garrity ride in the N L? I read it that Craig was pi**ed off with the Journalist/Newspaper for leaking the story as he wanted to announce the news himself, note neither Edinburgh Monarchs nor Belle Vue Aces have mentioned anything about Craig signing.
  7. Must say, this signing does surprise me as I expected Scotty to remain nearer his southern base, non the less welcome to Kirky Lane Scotty, a track you have shown a good liking to in the past.
  8. He also tweeted people will be surprised with 1 of his sides, so either B Vue or Edinburgh miss out.
  9. Sad as it is but shouldn't this Topic now be in the PL section.
  10. I and many other Aces fans hope you are right.
  11. In today's financial climate, hopefully Belle Vue will be able to offer terms that are suitable to both Richie and the club if not then as a self employed person Richie has every right to seek a deal elsewhere that suits him better, and Belle Vue will have to settle for another loan fee. Personally I would love to see him at the aces with his brother in one of the reserve spots.
  12. All British apart from Fricke, and I am assuming you mean Cheaper than flying in other European riders. I would say that Craig Cook was easily a decent 2nd heat leader this season. I still think the lower points limit will be good for the EL then build up year on year. Matty Zagar is more than welcome in my line up any time.
  13. assuming the points limit is dropped to around 37/8 then I would love to see a team at Belle Vue built around. M Zager C Cook R Worrell K Howarth Wolbert M Fricke ? Would love our own asset P Hougaard back but as we have yet another year at the tip it's best to loan Paddy out at P/Bora where he seemed to enjoy and got his confidence back.
  14. The league should be Home and Away once only,no play offs. Knock out cup should be home and away aggregate score and neither competition should have the present tactical rides, instead lets go back to the old way where if you are 6 pts adrift you can substitute a rider for another but no double points. Winner of the league rides against the winner of the KOC home and away for the Super Cup.
  15. to expect 700 at this time of the year is a bit of an over statement, it's to dark and cold after 1900 for Eastbourne's O.A.P'S.
  16. I too am an old fart who wouldn't expect to be interviewed by a Bank manager for a tillers job, but a 23 year old Speedway rider? anyway I didn't intend my reply to insult or question Chalkie's post so the least said now, the better.
  17. Disagree here Chalkie, Tattoo's or modern day "Body Art" are seen on both sexes every where throughout the world, in Tai's case it also portrays that underneath the image lie's a very mature, hard working, honest, family loving man, I wouldn't want him any other way, except to see him permanently in an Aces bib.
  18. What a Champ, massive big congrats to Tai and as you said your Dad would be looking down on you tonight, and he will be so proud of his son. I got a big lump in my throat when you gave your Mum a hug.
  19. I'd happily take that team but please not Ales would much prefer Kyle Howorth , with the 3 pointer being a mandatory young brit.
  20. What an insulting post to post, the current leader of the GP's is not there by fluke, as good as NKI is Tai is better. I'm sure NKI will do wolves proud tonight, but I'm sure all Wolves fans would prefer an injury free Woffy.
