  1. thats Rocoe's side of it, would like to listen to Nick's now.
  2. he also states that N Morris misses meetings for Leicester?
  3. This Aces team is the best we have had for years, the new formula gives us a top 4 who are all track specialists at the dump although to be fair last season we had a great race track, the 2 reserves are on a par with other teams reserves and MPT although unknown ability round Kirky Lane he does have potential. Will we finish in the top 4? I recon we will, but looking at other teams this season will depend on 2 things. 1 getting maximum league points at home. 2 being able to pick up points on travels.
  4. amazing, Poole pinch yet another teams thread.
  5. good team on paper, having said that Poles are excellent so long as they keep their polish team happy and Darcy! well he's injured again, will he make a full season? only time will tell.
  6. bit early in the morning to be drinking.
  7. You miss what I meant, Leigh Adams was the best rider never to off won the World crown, Darcy has the ability to win it but his all out style could lead to a never ending career of injuries and prevent him from winning the title. Darcy could end up like Leigh Adams in never winning a world title.
  8. Darcy's lack of gating skills will always put him at risk of injury, and that could make him another L Adams.
  9. I hope he never learns to gate, that would take the excitement out of watching him win from the back. Was the same with Peter Collins and Chris Morton. What a race that would be if the latter 2 were riding today.
  10. for me a top 4 of ( in no particular order ) 1-4 Kings Lynn Poole Belle Vue Wolves 5 Swindon 6 Coventry 7 Eastbourne 8 Lakeside 9 Leicester 10 Birmingham.
  11. If you truly believe that riding a track that in any other circumstance would of been called off as to DANGEROUS to ride gives your team merit, then like Ford you must put glory before rider safety.
  12. The truth hurts SS, Poole should never of been in the P/Off's last season, let alone win the league.
  13. Cookie missed 5 away EL Matches last season out of 14 hardly plenty, but hey you keep bumming up your Danish riders and don't let it worry your little head that some British riders are doing their level best to succeed in the BRITISH ELITE LEAGUE.
  14. So you don't think M Zagar is a class act?, personally I think having 2 young N.L. British riders at reserve can only benefit British speedways long term plan, after all it done no harm in Poland. Looking at the way teams are panning out for this season I recon we are in for a more evenly matched EL where more than 1 or 2 teams standing any chance of winning it. Bring it on.
  15. I sincerely hope you are right about R Lambert as Britain needs riders like him. PS looks a pretty good team, as does Coventry and ourselves, lets all hope for an injury free season for all teams for what could be the best/closest EL for many a year.
  16. From a British point of view I to hope he does well, but I wont be holding my breath unless he some how finds his gating boots.
  17. To me the biggest factor in any teams P/Off aspirations is to remain injury free, if we can do this then I hope a top 4 spot can't be achieved, I say hope because other teams have not finalised their side yet.
  18. ditto the 2 above posts, 1 off if not the best small track in the league last season. That should get the Wolves fans going
  19. get in there, welcome back Matty, really looking forward to next year in what looks likely to be our best year since 2005.
