It would help. I am trying some reverse psychology so hopefully we won't get beaten by so much. -
Coventry Bees Vs Belle Vue Aces - 13/06/14

Aces to win by 20 points at least. -
I was holidaying in Dorset so decided to go and watch this meeting. Kings Lynn gave their all and came away with the win, although a draw would of been a fairer result. As for the quality of racing seen at Wimbourne road, I was stood just outside the covered grandstand by the 3rd bend and was chatting to a seasoned Poole fan, he said the track has produced poor racing for a fair few seasons now. I suggested more dirt is needed as the tractor pulling the plough like thingymajig was causing sparks, surely you shouldn't have sparks on a dirt track.

Have to agree here Stevebrum, for some daft reason we always go missing away from Kirky Lane. -
Poole Pirates Vs Coventry Bees 21/5/2014

I wouldn't worry Poole can always call on their squad rider Holder. -
on paper it should be an easy home win for the Aces, but matches are not won on paper but still fancy the Aces to come away with all 3 points.
-
so where's this video
-
Well done Poole on a win that really was never in doubt, B Vue have a dreadful away record even with what on paper looks like a good team. As for the Cook Pawlicki incident, well the only rider who knows if he did it deliberately is Cookie himself and he said he didn't, you are all entitled to your opinions but until Cookie says different then opinions they will remain.

Belle Vue Aces V King's Lynn Stars 12/05/14
hyderd replied to Bagpuss's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
If the lads ride KL the way we know they can then I fancy B Vue to gain a narrow victory over Lynn. I think 2-6 pt win for the Aces. -
why are Poole fielding 2 guest riders at 6 and 7 tonight.?
-
a patched up Leicester side was still to good for the Aces, so well done Leicester on 3 deserved points, As for the Aces, no excuses we must move on and do better next time.

No mention of the watering that took place during the day tho?? When rain is due surely that is a suicidal thing to do?? They did the same thing when Belle Vue were there. -
Think you will find thats tomorrow night
-
true speedway fan then.
-
The day of the match and no topic, is that a record. LOL Home win for me but hopefully the Aces can come away with a point.
-
Must be some Garden.
-
got to agree there, this is where our season starts.....................................................................hopefully.
-
we should at least get closer than previous season's, I will go with a narrow 2-6 pt win for the Robins.

Birmingham V Lakeside April 2 El (a)
hyderd replied to Vincent Vega's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Feel for the Brummie fans, your team reminds me of the Aces of 2007. I sincerely hope the fans back the team. -
Lets not forget one of the most alluring things about those days, the smell. I remember walking up to the stadium (Hyde Road) the sound of the bikes and the smell of the Methanol made the excitement magic.
-
Think a 3 pt deduction at the start of the season, plus a 3 grand fine should suffice.
-
I think we have as good a team as some and better than most but as is normal in Speedway keeping your riders fit and the riders keeping their machinery fit will determine who finishes where. This year though I am more optimistic than previous seasons.
